There was a match at Leeds Rd where someone had to wear the black and yellow chequered away Town kit but can’t for the life of me remember who it was. It happened in early 2000's against Port Vale too. Only reason I remember was Sam collins was the at Port Vale. Made me laugh that he was wearing a town kit again! It was the white one with the black sleeves I think.

Remember the sitters well Izzy Brown and Heff. Didn't Martin Cranie miss one as well?

Love the play-offs, but haven't been able to watch them this year. Haven't seen a game.
Championship play-offs - where Town should have been aiming this season... we beat and drew some of these teams.
League 1 play-offs - teams that are replacing Town in the Championship that have inferior players, but who play as a team.
League 2 play-offs - teams who will be playing Town next season that are fucking shite.
Looking forward to the Euros though.

I'd also forgotten about Quaner and Wells having chances.

Bayer Leverkusen are the Bundesliga invincibles with the Europa League final (v Atalanta @3/4) on Wednesday & the German DFB Pokal cup final (v Kaiserslautern @1/10) next Saturday to ensure total invincibility if successful........Next years champions league winners, possibly?

The late winners are no fluke though they tactically set up to tire teams out and then use fast very good substitutions and it’s consistently worked . Wouldn’t be at all suprised if they upset Bayern in the league again next year, and reach the latter stages QF of the CL. Fantastic achievement for the club this year . Fantastic achievement when they finished miles ahead of the CL semi finalists and finalist / potential winner of the CL.

Oxford will be coming up - let’s hope they remember their away kit this time One time they had to wear ours as brought the home one ! We won't need to worry about that seeing as they'll be in a higher division than us. But in the same division as Mark's team

Well congratulations to Oxford. But league one has just got a little bit tougher with Bolton still in there now aswell. Don't understand this really. Oxford were the better team. So surely Town are better off?

In a single season they've gone from "Neverkusen" to "Never Losing". Remarkable. Though "Bauer Leverkusen" would be a good fantasy team name for a Bayer Leverkusen fan who is also a farmer

I'm thinking at 2000 plus pages we need to start afresh with today's games?
Our new adventures at level 3 maybe the catalyst for a new beginning...
Time to move on ?

We shouldn't be wary of any other team. Teams should think of us, like we did Leicester last season. Why? What have we done that justifies L1 teams to think of us like that? Just because we’ve got a nice ground and have recently been relegated from Prem and Champ after honking seasons with a honking squad, many of whom are still under contract with us? I would say an arrogant and overconfident mentality like the one in your post is more responsible for our current problems than a mentality that deals in realism and pragmatism.

Honestly negativity is why we are where we are. let's have a little positivity.

There’s been far bigger fish than us in L1 in recent years so let’s not make out we’re something special to anyone there. Bit of humility, take our L1 medicine and hopefully come back a better run club and a better football team. Enough with the ‘we should be pissing this league’ bollocks. Bar two remarkable seasons we’ve been shite for years. It’s as if saying ‘we’ll win the league by Xmas’ will make it so. Will it bollocks.

Difference between arrogance and confidence. We should be confident of being top 2. We shouldn't go into any game looking for a point. We are big club in this league if you go on recent history. We should act like it. Do you think Leicester were wary of other teams last season?

Well done to Sheikh Mansour for successfully buying the title again. UAE all the way. As much as people hate City. Can you explain 'bought the league' Their defence cost less than what United paid for Maguire. Their front 4 cost less than what United paid for Anthony. They have actually bought really well. They are 5th in spending over the last 3 years.

In the last 10 seasons, only we will have been in the PL that is now in League 1. That to me puts us as the biggest club in there. We should have high expectations of an automatic spot. Don't see what's wrong woth ambition. This small dog mentality is what is bollocks. Oooh no we have to play Bolton now. Pathetic.

They’ve obviously cheated with FFP, but I suspect they’re one of 20 in the Premier League who have (plus those in the Championship).

They face 115 charges re FFP providing false figures re revenue and managers fees etc etc. The foundation of their success is undoubtedly their spending backed by an oil state. That’s probably what he means by buying the league.
