If this thread carries on I can already see what is going to happen.
In the next press conference Blake bloody Welton will find the most inappropriate moment to go " So David I have it from reliable and trusted sources (definitely not from a message-board, honest gov!) that there has been a massive fallout out with you and Kasey! So what's the story jack-anory? Is he being sent back? and so on...
It will turn out there has been no falling out, there is no problem, Kasey is working hard but not showing match-sharpness in training.

Real shame if it doesn't work out, as I really liked Kasey as a person, as well as a player. He just seemed to fit with us (ill never forget his noisy neighbours tweet) he also seemed well liked by the other players too and brought a lot to the dressing room.

So, does anyone have the inside track on Kasey Palmer? I saw someone wrote in another thread that he and DW have had a falling out, but I must have missed something somewhere as I'd not seen anything discussed. Anyone know what's happening? All I know is that he's said on Twitter that he's fit and healthy and hasn't missed a training session since coming back from Chelsea, DW says that KP isn't in the best of form at the moment. All I know is that he's said on Twitter that he's fit and healthy and hasn't missed a training session since coming back from Chelsea, DW says that KP isn't in the best of form at the moment. It looks like he is desperate to come back and telling everyone he is ready, for now Wagner just doesn't fancy him. Doesn't look like a fallout, just a form issue.

Wagners said before, its about what you do in training. If you impress him, you'll earn your chance. If you don't , you won't.
Palmer might be fit but like Sabiri, he isn't impressing him as much as other players are just now.
Doesn't mean there's any fall out or attitude problem. Just means Palmer has to up his game to earn a chance in this squad.

However - we're just over a week away from the Bolton cup tie 'reservefest' they'll want to stay up and will make wholesale changes themselves so the likes of KP, Hef if fit, Sabiri, Craine, Lolley, Deano W, Coleman or Green will all get a useful minutes. We just need to make sure we have someone up front capable of hitting the net and getting thru
After Leicester on Monday I expect most of the squad mainstays will be given much of next week off post Xmas to come back refreshed before the WHam game for some to even return home 48-72 hours.

As he is on a season long loan he is available for all cup matches, no way is Palmer going to get near the Chelsea first team squad this season or any other season imo.

Maybe the case but can't see too many teams rushing in to take a player that's missed two periods of nearly 3 months each with hamstring issues within the last 9 months, especially at 20 K per week.

Been told Sabiri hasn’t been in the squad for attitude reasons (albeit, not a shock when you consider the rumours of how he forced a move here). Not a clue on Palmer but I suspect it could be to do with Chelsea not happy with his continued injuries and may have mentioned to Wagner to reduce the intensity of KP’s sessions or only let him train once a day instead of two.
Just a thought but seems a logical one as to why both parties won’t be happy about it & why Wagner isn’t putting him in the team. Don’t for one second believe it’s Palmer’s attitude as he’s always seemed to graft 100% and loves it here, but who knows..

I respect the fact the gaffer isn't really saying anything. Why should he? the only thing that matters is the first team or starting 11, and if KP isn't in it then fair enough, it's his decision.
