8 million quid. Would have been worth that in a loan fee for last season`s performances. One decent season in prem league be worth double that.

The announcement stated we have agreed a fee with Man City, no mention of agreeing terms with Aaron Mooy, let's hope the deal has been finalised - UTT. I don't think we'd have gone to the effort of agreeing a fee if he had no intention of returning. I suspect his terms were agreed before he disappeared and then it was down to Town and City to agree a fee Yeah I'm pretty sure teams agree terms with the agent and player etc first. Then once they know will sign they negotiate with the club to agree a fee. He is on international duty at the moment so that is prob the reason why contract not signed and nothing on the OS. This is prob the deal Winter was talking about on his WYS interview

The good thing is, a lot of people have seen how good Mooy can be and it helps attract other players who don't want to sign for a sinking ship.

As reported by Aussie press in January. Agreed fee if promotion is achieved. No great surprise but a welcome retention to the team.

Good signing I think! You know more about him than I do. Was well happy for you guys when I saw what it meant to your owner at the Play off final.

So 8 million plus add-ons is our new record signing. I can't help hoping that this new record doesn't last too long.

Aaron Mooy... a player we all said was too good for The Championship and would definitely be playing in The Premier League next year for a Stoke, a Southampton or a Crystal Palace maybe.
Well, guess what... he is going to be playing in The Premiere League... with Huddersfield Town!!!
Let that just sink in for a second.

I never said that on here due to my preposterous ban but I would have done, I said it to both my father and son enough times over the season.

bit worried about the wages structure, allegedly 10,000 a week was the most last season,if the 35,000 is true, how does that leave the other players especially if others come in on similar wages,we must not overstretch ourselves at all costs.

You could pay 6 players £35k and the rest of them on £20k and we still would have the lowest wage bill this year.

I wonder if it was a condition or part of DWs new contract that we would do what we could to keep Mooy DW is a realist. No way would he have set conditions related to player deals/requirements.

Don't worry about it mate, you won't have to pay them. Deano knows what he has to do.

Really chuffed to hear that Mooy looks to be signing. He is absolutely vital to the way we play. If he hadn't signed, finding a replacement would have been hard. We'd have been looking at 8-10 million at least, and that would have been for a player who hasn't played for us before. In Mooy we know we've signed quality, and we know he fits our team perfectly.
The dream continues...

Top earner 10k last year? Surely some would have been on more than that.
I heard Scannel was on that much.

But what about the disharmony in the squad caused by big wages??? Fk that, brilliant player and the key to our midfield.

I dont mean it as in sign him or i wont sign but i mean i wondered if he wanted to be assured we would try to sign him and mooy was his no1 main target
