I suspect (and think it makes sense) to set up to defend at City, ten men behind the ball and hope not to concede, just stay in the game. This expends less energy leaving us fresher for Chelsea (who play Liverpool on Sunday 6th) Of their 4 remaining games in 13 days, ours is relatively low key. They may rest players and won't be up for a physical test. If we have a real go at them, I see this as our best chance of further point(s) Absolutely.

Town fans should run on the pitch and get the match abandoned. We should exercise our citizens rights. That way we get a point, don't we, based on similar events in the past?

We have three games against teams who have their position in the table wrapped up and players hoping to stay fit for the World Cup. It’s highly possible we’ll pick up 1 or 2 points from these games. As ever i’d rather have the points in the bag, it’s not ideal and very uncomfortable to not have this wrapped up but i’d Have taken this scenario at the start of the season. We’re still more likely to stay up than go down, but only just... which is frustrating and still raw at the moment. One point would be great 2 I think is in dreamland. Will get walloped at Man City,Chelsea are now over their wobble period and Arsenal will want to send Wenger off with a win, not looking too rosy. Yesterday was the chance to get us over the finish line, would not have thought it with the performance though.

I personally don't think we'll get another point. I hope I'm wrong, but that's my opinion. If that is the case then yes, we are relying on others to slip up. I agree, where are we going to get another point from ? Can't see it myself but we live in hope. I AGREE it will be difficult to get another point but the old adage them who have the points are better than those who have them to get.If we can go in to the arsenal game with a chance of staying up I think we all would take it.A interesting last nine days in store. I also believe we have given it a good shot this season whatever the final outcome

I remember at the start of the season everybody I came across said "we won't get anything from the last 4 games" I don't see any reason to disagree with that.Although I admire some people's optimism on here.

Sunday will be a bit of a circus. With all the distractions it’s as good a time as any to play them.

Well that’s it. The fat lady as sung and left the stage. In the end we went out with a whimper. No complaints we have been poor for 18 months and action was taken to little to late. I hope we can beat Swansea and help you out but don’t bank on it
WE WILL RETURN

Demonstrates the transient nature for the vast majority of clubs, hopefully we enjoy / enjoyed it whilst it lasts / lasted.

Hope you come straight back up chadders, and honestly I’m not a spelling or grammar freak but it’s TOO Little too late not to. If you’re going to SAN Francisco with flowers in your hair that’s fine. Just my pet hate, especially service vans, that like Gardner’s pay a fortune for pictures of lawn mowers, bumble bees etc, finisheddoff with “ no job to small” yuk!!!

I think we'll scrape through, but there's still the possibility we'll be playing you next season.
If one of the games is the playoff final, let's have a pint before.

Great idea. But I think you’ll stay up. And we’re coming back as Champions 😊 Not if lambert remains in charge. Good luck. Shows how much Lambert's stock/ability has fallen since the Colchester and Norwich days, I still remember the day when Colchester beat Norwich 7-1 under Lambert, who proceeded to poach him and get promoted twice in a row... Best of luck Chadders, it won't be an easy division down there considering the names and squads that will miss out on promotion this season - and I have to say that it was really unfortunate and cruel that your relegation was confirmed in the way it was, particularly given how much of a mainstay Shawcross has been in your side since your promotion.

And we’re coming back as Champions 😊 Sincerely hope you do. Unless of course, we are in the same division. Help us out vs Swansea and you too will get to wipe the smug grin off Carlos's face! (did I get my apostrophe in the right place?)

Commiserations Chadders. I was a bit concerned to hear lambert talking about next season so comfortably- don’t know if he’s been told he’s keeping his job or whether he was just talking optimistically. A fresh start would surely be the way to go. Lots of good young English managers out there.

Yes, but you don't need the final 's'. Carlos' True but is not grammatically incorrect to use one, so both versions are valid. The problem only arises hear as Carlos ends in s. Using say the name Bess or Jess one would not bother with an s after the apostrophe as it would look strange even though again grammatically correct. Anyway UTT brilliant point today.
