just got back from the game. Watched your match last night
Not good is it
Love us to both survive but I think at least one of us will go now You seem to have lost all your early season fight and we just seem to perform once in five or so
Hopefully our new £18m man will improve us but we really needed a striker (who doesn’t). Results for Swansea and Bournemouth really have shaken it up.
Really couldn’t pick the three to go at the moment WBA. A bit adrift but Sturbridge could make a difference Swans. Thought they were gone but what a cracking two results Saints. Surely too good ? You. Sadly seem to have lost it Us. Any bodies gues Brighton. On a bad run. Have they got the class Newcastle. Good manager. Crap side Palace. Look good at times awful at others WHU. Think they’re too good Watford. Piss poor. Think they could fall further Bournemouth. At home to us next Win that they’ll probably be ok
So perm 3 from 11 ?
my view. WBA. Brighton. And. You or Us
It’ll be close Good luck

Good post that is appreciated but to be honest you are not in the mix for me.Its a good bet for the three promoted clubs to go down. There are hundreds of Town fans on here frustrated by our recent form but we have truly been crap for a while now.We are praying for our worshipped manager to pull his and our key players finges out,Unleash Hell and stay up.

Is it me, or are some of the top 6 starting to lose silly games against sides near the bottom. Although those in and around the drop zone will take points off one another, it might have an influence if some of those bag 6/7 points off the top 6 when they're either having an off day, or can't be arsed with it. It does happen, not against us unfortunately. We had to work very hard for our only 3 point haul against a top 6 side !
Still too tight to call for me - perm any 3 from 11th down, but not feeling overly optimistic about ourselves right now. Need to get back on track, and quick.

I'm hoping the top 6 will all be sorted, champions league places sorted too and players saving themselves for the world cup by the time we finish our season off with Chelsea, Man City and Arsenal..

In a bizarre coincidence....6 wins, 6 draws, 13 losses and minus 25 goal difference....both Stoke and Huddersfield! We are now 11/4 favourites to be bottom. It was 33/1 just a few weeks back.

I don't blame you after our recent games, we have lost our fight. We need to get Old Trafford out of the way then really go for it. It is going to be a nervy couple of months and i really hope we do what we are capable of, which is much better then we have produced over the last few weeks. We can do it but the players need to believe. I agree Watford could fall further, they are dire, so are Brighton. You will be fine i think, Bournemouth, Brighton and Southampton are 3 of your next 4 games where you should pick up points.

We have to get something out of those trips to the coast. The other game in that 4 is Man City do that’s a write off. You need to get that early form back or you will go the way of Blackpool and Hull both of who had terrific starts and then faded Any 3 from 11 r] Must be a great watch for those not involved !!

all my work colleagues have us down for certain relegation from the live games and highlights, they've been watching us with more interest but all state we've lost our fight, aggression in the tackle and closing down.
The results (but more the performance) in January pretty much sealed it for me we've left ourselves too much to do and showing little signs of learning from our mistakes and Herr Wagner chopping and changing.

Hope both Town and Stoke stay up. Would much prefer a trip to Longton rugby club than to South Wales.
My heart hopes to perm three from WBA, Swansea, Brighton and Southampton.
My head thinks WBA, Swansea and doesn't like to think too much about the last one. Think it's a coin toss re Town staying up.

Thread on the Oatcake at the moment about who will go
Hate to say you seem to be among most fans favourites ( not because they want you to go, just purely predictions).
The worrying thing is a lot of them are predicting us to go as well

The worrying thing is a lot of them are predicting us to go as well I started taking an interest in the Oatcake because of the Mark Hughes saga and was genuinely surprised at how negative the board was considering your initial return to the PL was nearly as unexpected as ours (although I accept ours was more unexpected). I genuinely thought the feel good factor would have lasted longer, especially with arguably bigger historically relatively local teams struggling to get in the PL (e.g. Villa, Wolves, Derby, Forest).

Southampton fans are both angry at the board and manager and despondent. Unless matters change, they will be going down. What I find really depressing is that Saints fans are very critical of one of their very loyal servants: Steven Davis. He has been a superb player for them. Talented and thoughtful. It's true that his legs aren't now capable of working to PL standard this season, but to be the subject of so much unwarranted bile from so-called fans is just dreadful. Even I'm not as critical of Tommy Smith as they are of Davis. Let us continue to support our players and manager and show Saints fans up.

Could possibly go down to goal difference between us and yourselves as we're both on -25 at the moment (presumably you've scored more than us which is why you're above us in the table).
Perhaps help explain our managers negativity? My guess is he'll set up again at Old Trafford like he did on Tuesday.
Should be an interesting couple of months.

Us, Brighton and Watford at the moment look like my best guess.
Think Newcastle have got good quality in who will boost them, Brighton I’m not so sure.
Swansea are an enigma at the moment. No one would have expected them to pick up those 6 points. But they’ve made the most of the ‘free hits’ and it’s put it back right in with a chance, think their survival will depend on if the ‘3 game boost’ drops now and they go back to previous. I think those two results were probably enough to give them the mental and numerical boost and they will survive.
West Brom, Southampton and stoke look like being the Ones to watch. Southampton will pull clear when a new manager comes in and gives them the usual boost.
West Ham should be clear, as should Bournemouth, both have too much quality.
Crystal Palace look like they will survive but make harder work of it.
West Brom, stoke, US, Watford, Southampton(maybe not) and Brighton are the ones who are realistic I think.

We’ve been in the Prem longer than anyone other than the big six and Everton The feel good factor lasted for about thre years. We had three good years under MH finishing 9th each time. We looked like we really push on with Bojan Arnie and Shaq but for some reason it stalled and then went into freefall for 18 months Hopefully Lambert can halt the decline and we may just hold on. Big problem if we stop up is how do we finance next year with Zbutland Shaq probably moving on and Zouma going back to Chelsea It’s a sad fact that for teams like ours the PL as a glass ceiling and after 10 years of banging your head against it it’s difficult to keep up the enthusiasm Spent 25 years following Stoke from Rochdale to Mansfield. Gillingham to Preston and probably had better times at places like that than at Old Trafford and Anfield. I want to stop in the Prem but if we go down so what Stokes my club like Towns yours. We’ll lose the plastics after a few years but the real fans will remain probably for another 20 years before we go up again That’s Football eh City Till I Die

Best price to stay up 11/8 with W Hill implies probility of 42.11% (although I guess I don't need to tell you that). I still think it's closer to a coin toss and as the price is likely to get even bigger after tomorrow, I might be interested (only might because I'm already in for £20 at 13/10 since before the season started). Re relegation the best price I've seen was 4/1 with sky on 30th December. We were still 3/1 on 10th January when I mailed a friend it was probably time to look at us for relegation (like you I wouldn't take that bet myself).

Bad day for both of us. Suppose yours was expected but was hoping we might have got summat. Especially after going in front but the same old defensive frailties came back again Bournemouth look clear now If Palace beat the Geordies tomorrow I’d say it’s 3 from WBA Swansea Newcastle and the pair of us Looking increasingly likely we’ll be playing each other again next year
