To be fair to Chadders51, he's been ok with all of his posts on here and couldn't be considered one of the 'shit' fans. Not every fan can be tarred with the same brush as there are fans at extreme ends of the spectrum at every club. Yes I know but back in 2001 when we drew 0-0 with stoke I was walking to the ground with some chips in my hands and a bloke in his 40 Burberry up knocked them out my hands 😡😡😡😡 Until I know who he was I will tarnish all stoke fans the same, shit fans, shit club 😂😂😂😂😂 I was enjoying them chips It was Chippers51

Looks like Swansea are going to try something a little different. Fair play to them for having the stones to try...

Rowett's going to have far more money from parachute payments at Stoke than he would be given at Derby if he'd stayed, both are rebuilding jobs to some extent so for an ambitious manager looking to get a team into the prem it's a bit of a no brainer.

Good evening Terriers According to reports we are taking Tom Ince off you for £10million
Always liked him but that fee seems a bit steep. Is he twice as good as Sobhi or are you taking us for a ride with this one !!!

I don’t particularly want him to go but if he does whoever takes him has a real player.

Always tries hard but only 2 goals last season. I wouldn't be selling him if I were us unless we've got someone lined up to replace him.

Consistently bosses it in the championship I think he would be a great signing for you at the price whilst at the same time being a good deal for us

Is he twice as good as Sobhi or are you taking us for a ride with this one !!! He was deffo part of our journey last season. He is a top end championship player. He is an adequate premiership player. He gave us, in my opinion, 60% of the excitement of last season with his goal against Watford. We will always remember him for that. Good luck to him if he goes.

Is he twice as good as Sobhi or are you taking us for a ride with this one !!! Hi Chads I like Tom Ince, before he signed for us had fears he'd be lazy & go missing (like Forest (and to a lesser extent) Derby fans suggest) but couldn't fault him in that area at all. Disappointed he's rarely played in what seems his best position (right midfield) and amazed that for spells Quaner was ahead of him in that role. His confidence seems to have been affected (but I was hoping he'd turn it around) but TBH even though I like him I have to accept for the money he's been a bit of a disappointment. I hope he doesn't leave but can sort of see why we're interested at £10m. I don't really see why you should be worried, in the Championship he'll be a great player for you, the only question mark is at the highest level.

The very definition of a confidence player, decent ability and effort but it never got going for him with us for whatever reason and he became less impactful. As others have said a very good championship player who has still to prove he can step up.

For sure Matt Ritchie has a higher market value than Tom Ince, due to being a better player and having a longer current contract. I reckon reality is Tom Ince is pretty much an £8m player but not for sale less than £10m simply because of nature of what we’ve got tied in him. Similarly Ritchie is probably a £10m-£12m player but by virtue of his contract would take £14m to buy him and make it worthwhile for them to bother.

Is he twice as good as Sobhi or are you taking us for a ride with this one !!! Unfortunately for you, Stoke will also inherit a third of e4stevie as a fan. Another third is with Cardiff (Danny Ward, don't ask). The final third remains here waiting to irrationally latch on to another reasonably good player, and turn them into some sort of footballing deity who can do no wrong and exceeds the abilities of Ronaldo and Messi combined.

Inch has much better legs than Ritchie and usually puts in a great shift. The problem for us is that he has had 40+ attempts on goal but only scored a couple. He gets into some great positions but has just not been able to convert and no one has quite been able to put their finger on why. As we got him for £7 million plus ad ons, and he's not really been productive enough, it would be a great deal to get £10 million for him, and reinvest in someone who might be more productive.

There’s a stat where he’s only scored 2 in 70 attempts, but at least he’s been getting in the positions in the first place. I think with a little more luck he’d have really kicked on. Not one I’m happy to see go but he’ll be a VERY good championship player and wish him all the best. Good luck for the season mate

Tom Ince was the player I was most looking forward to seeing in a Town shirt out of the new signings we had last summer, you can't fault his attitude or workrate both of which were questioned when he joined but for whatever reason it just didn't happen for him.
I hope we get someone in to replace him before finalising the deal as he's far better than any of the current options we have.

As others have said a very good championship player who has still to prove he can step up. His touch just seemed to be a touch to heavy in the Premier League. He was always chasing after the ball, from his first touch, and trying to nick it before the defender. In the Championship it won't be that much of an issue. Although if the choice was Ince or Traore, I'd keep Ince.

Although if the choice was Ince or Traore, I'd keep Ince.Assuming you mean the Traore from Middlesbrough then I'd take him for his pace alone. Ince is a much harder worker than I had him down as, but he isn't quick, is too lightweight and gets knocked off the ball too easily. I do think if he'd scored a couple of goals early on he would have gone on to have had a more productive season. However if he can be replaced by blistering pace, which Traore has, then do so. All defenses drop back a little if they know there's a speed merchant on the opposition, which then gives everybody a little more/Mooy room to play.

If we'd been relegated, he's the one player I'd have wanted to keep. I really like the guy, he comes across as an intelligent, thoughtful chap in interviews. He's a top class Championship player but whether it was confidence or something else, he just wasn't as good as I thought he'd be in the Premier League.
That said, the one issue I had with Wagner last season was that he never played Ince in his best position which probably accounted for a lot. I wish him the best if he leaves us.

I like Ince, he's a grafter and does all the right things except score. I was hoping he'd calm his nerve after a season in the prem so he'd grab us some goals this season.
10 million is 10 million though.

As an all round player Ince has a lot to his game, and all his attributes deliver in the Championship. The problem he has in the Premier League is none of his attributes are quite good enough to be effective. Not quite fast enough, not strong on the ball and needs too many chances.
The debate over whether Quaner or Ince is worth keeping is an interesting one, because pound for pound Ince is a far better player (not even debatable) but Quaner has the pace to be effective and cause damage.
