As long as we stay up I’m not bothered who goes down.

Hope Stoke go down as worst place to visit of current Premier League teams. Horrible place. Strange comment in my view. Do you mean Stoke the city or the Bet365 (if that's what it's called this week)? If just the trip to the game I'd put it much closer the top than bottom (although geography plays a part in that - and judging from other's comments Longton Rugby Club was a good find - although even if just the ground it's not that bad). To put your comment in context, how many of the other 19 have you been to recently?

And they have a high proportion of knobs. (I've been to 12 of the Premier League teams (not all this season)). I like West Brom and Palace for what it's worth, hardly the most salubrious of surroundings!

This year was a good trip but some stinkers in the past and it is a poor ground in a shocking location. ....and unless by "knobs" you mean hooligans then South London absolutely cruises a "knob count" compared to Staffordshire.

Had some crazy good away days at Selhurst Park watching Palace and Wimbledon over the years, and met some of the nicest fans around (their stupid accent when singing is very annoying though). As you intimate though, the whole memory of a day can be defined one way or the other by maybe 20-30 away fans you might come into contact with. Watford and Stoke not good, Palace and West Brom good. Liverpool and anyone else in top half seems be just meh.

Nothing can be as soul destroying as the Olympic Stadium and surroundings.

I'd love Brighton to go down after the arrogance of their fans I met last week, absolute weapons Ive nothing against Brighton the club or their fans but the way Garth Crooks and Lawrenson have loved up to them all season, I’d laugh my socks off if we stayed up at their expense. Mark Lawrenson...Sucks the sweat off a dead mans balls.

I genuinely couldn't care less who goes down as long as it's not us. My gut feeling is that we now have enough points to stay up even if we lose all of our remaining games (good job too, given our opposition). My gut feeling is that Stoke will go down as well, although I have a sneaking feeling that Southampton will escape.
When will I relax? Final whistle after the Arsenal game. Even if we go into the last day mathematically safe (or mathematically down) I'll not relax. There's prize money for each place higher you finish in the table - the prize money for finishing just one place higher could pay the wages of one player for the season on £30k p/w. Not to be sniffed at.

Definitely works in our favour that Swansea are likely to be in a 'must not lose' position when they play Southampton and Stoke. Draws against Swansea for those two are unlikely to be enough. Can only see Swansea on 36pts by then if they can beat Bournemouth (and lose to city and Chelsea).

I worry that if on the last day of the season there's ONE combination of results that would send us down, it'll happen. That Birmingham game is still fresh in the mind!
