There is no doubt that Palace are a good side, and have been unlucky with injuries. We can do better than that, though. We mislaid too many passes when not under pressure, and so many of our crosses were poor. I thought Pritchard was doing alright, so I was surprised to see Kacha replace him and not someone else. Mooy doesn't usually feck up so many basic passes. VLP was not on it today, either. Palace, like Swansea, are big at the back, so Depoitre might have offered more of a threat, although Mounie did alright considering a lack of service. On the plus side, we dominated possession for the first 60 minutes, but lacked a cutting edge ... and we could have lost by more in the end. I didn't see the pen as my connection failed for a few minutes. I haven't heard any protests, though. We can win at Newcastle.

I hope people arent basing our chances of survival on a good performance against a side who didn't really turn up. Look at all our 31 games, not just that one. We've had far more games like the one today than the Bournemouth game which to be fair is to be expected given our resources
It's going to be very tight. I think we'll get 4 or 5 more points, who knows if that will be enough

Ref should have given us a blatant free kick when zaha pulled back flo just before they broke though. Poor refereeing.

Need to play billing. No sharpness in the passes either this week or last. At least billing looks foward and takes on a shot. Hogg was more positive than mooy today.

Come all the way from New Zealand for this, my first premier league game! Looking forward to this famous Wagner era atmosphere, hopefully keep the jet lag away, wide awake at 4am... Comon boys bring the 3pts home 🍻 P.s I am not Straighttalker before anyone suggests 😂😂 One word today....disappointing. My honest summary, start to finish there was only one winner here, palace first to everything, wanted it more and they’ll wish they could play us every week. First goal - didn’t really see too well but seemed to be a big gap in marking, could see it coming. Zanka- didn’t need to dive in on that and he knew it as soon as he did it. Mooy - lad looked like he had lead in his boots and didn’t want to be there, looks to slow it down and not the player he was earlier in the season. Hopefully will rediscover his form. Hogg - love the guy but as much pointing as the legendary pointer Mark Hudson. Pritchard - tried to make things happen, ball sticks to his feet. Would’ve kept him on. Ince - poor lads a lost cause on the left, and in general seems to be missing something. I used to hate watching him against us as he’d tear us a new one. Remember him at Blackpool he made us look stupid. Was expecting a different player this season. Malone - again well out of his depth, flaps around, felt sorry for him. Flo - best town player by far. Tries to make things happen. Mounié- not a bad game, should’ve scoresheet but mis-controlled, things could’ve been so different. Quaner- Imo thought he had a decent game, I actually like him as he drives it forward. But not seen him enough to see his more interesting games 😂 VLP - Can see why he splits opinions, came on pranced around, all that was missing was his pink fairy skirt, and I like him as a player. Lowe looked to play well when he came on, hopefully he keeps his left back slot until kongolo is back, as did kachunga looked sharp and tried to make things happen. This is my view lads my first game in over 2.5 years, last time I saw us win live was vs palace Jan 2013, ironically against palace too. All in all a disappointing day but at the end of the day, I enjoyed being back and watching a home game with my old man is one of life’s little pleasures I never get to do anymore. Don’t know what’s worse though the result or the weather, or zaha’s hair!! should’ve gone back to Asia like normal, why does my friend have to get married 😭😭🍺 Enjoy the ride fellow town fans despite the position we have a lot going for us with this amazing club. See you all in a few years. 🔵⚪️

They have some tough fixtures.

My point about how shit we are attacking was proven again today. Okay we attacked quicker but final ball wasted yet again almost every time and only two shots all game only one on target. We ve not scored in 17 games in league now most in league, we needed to get 3 points against Swansea, Palace and Watford and hope to get points at Newcastle and Brighton, can t expect to get anything from last 4, and sorry looks like it s too late to solve attacking problem and we ll go down unless we get our finger out and do some of the things i spotted we need to do almost 7 months ago and unless the morons in the new cowshed who aren t worthy of the name learn songs to lift and inspire team to victory at Newcastle and Brighton,oh i forgot Brighton will be too far for most of them to go but they'll still expect to be priority 1 next season and still think their worthy WHEN FACT they have been abusing and threatening older Town fans who were in the real cowshed years ago at some of the away games they ve attended.

I agree overall - you can't say our average performance levels have been that high. Very fortunate that there are teams that seem in quite a bit worse shape than us. Still all to play for - I'll settle for two more Bournemouth-like performances to see us right. I had been looking forward to Newcastle and Brighton away - not so much now though!

Last two home games against teams in the shit like us, and we haven`t even scored a bloody goal.A golden opportunity was put on a plate for us last week and we were found wanting, its not over yet though far from it, a win and moods change in an instant, role on Newcastle.

From my angle it looked like he turned a discerning eye against us, forcefully shook his head and deliberately tried to look as obnoxious as he could in waving play on. On another note: Taken from the BBC live match commentary: "This is a terrific win for Crystal Palace and a terrible one for Huddersfield." I didn't think one could win terribly, or what did the ignorant sod mean?!! Edited addition: How much do these ignoramuses get paid for commentaries like that? Really interested to know, because I can't imagine it's more than one pound an hour!

Gloom set in when we had to swop sides before the kick off. Always feel we don't do well when we have to swop sides.
I presume we lost the coin toss to choose which side we start from. And why do we have to even offer the opposition which half they start in?
Then to top it off, the burger van ran out of cheese so no cheesy chips for me and the young 'un😤

Not one single redeeming thing came out of our game today. Not one. Everton rescued the day from being a total disaster. It's now only a partial disaster. Small mercies. And now it decided to blizzard big time. Could have done with that a couple of hours ago. Would have taken a A-A at half time.

The fight is far from over, and we continue to dream, but we've failed to score in 8 of our last 11 league games and only West Brom have picked up less points since the turn of the year. We need to dig deep and find a few good performances from somewhere.

That's 16 league games now in which we haven't scored, over half our games Yet a second striker was nowhere to be seen. It'll be some achievement if we do stay up after scoring so few goals Shocking statistic. We didn't even look like scoring today which is very concerning given the importance of the game. Rivals will look at that stat and say we deserve to get relegated. I not sure we can argue otherwise.

Look, we got here on the back of two penalty shoot-puts. One of which we looked dead and buried.
So this has been a bonus, we go down?. So what. We will be a force in the Championship (and FFS don't quote me some of the basket case Clubs like Hull and Sunderland).
We are well run, with good Players and Team spirit. Oh and a few quid in the bank.
Walk it in the Championship next year?. Hell no but we will win plenty of games and be competitive and I personally prefer it in the Championship than Premier League anyway. We can go down for me.

Man for man, Palace looked better than us all over the pitch. Miles away from the performance at Selhurst Park.
Their young right back looks like he will go far. Thought he was going to be terrible after he tripped over the ball on his first touch however he was solid for the rest of the game. Had Ince in his back pocket.

Mooy is not the same player as last season. Passing was awful first half and he always slows our play down. Pity Williams is out for the season. I'd be tempted to bring Billing in for Mooy next game. Kachunga should be back in next game. He is busy and always looks to get on the front foot. Kongolo in at left back. Delpoitre up front. Heads up, though. Still points to play for. All the pundits expected us to be adrift by now. West Brom are gone. Difficult to see Stoke getting out of it. Southampton have a very difficult run-in and West Ham are fighting amongst themselves.

Very poor team performance, Palace are a decent side who would be nowhere near the bottom but for De Boar and injuries but that doesn't excuse some of our passing which in the main was abysmal. The MoM sponsors would have had trouble, hard to think of anybody who played well and a few had shockers. Lost patience with Ince, what does he do ? Gives us nowt going forward and he's had enough chances. Only positive's were Lowe and Kachunga back and Everton's late winner at Stoke, otherwise the football matched the weather.

He looked excellent against United the other week Although I could have Ince in my pocket. A more ineffective winger you will not find at this level. That left side first half was painful to watch. Atleast Flo and Quaner looked like they might do something

I love the Championship and enjoy watching games more at that level than this. Completely get your point though and agree it would be good to stay up now we have (eventually) got here and will be really pleased if we do. I didn't go today as am away in Scotland (playing Trump golf course tomorrow!) but believe we were very poor today.

Iook we are probably down this team won’t muster a single point so no way will that be enough, you can’t turn it around with the current players people prepare for life in the championship at least I lived to see us back in the big time again
