I think it’s highly likely we’ve picked up a natural number 10 who’s been incorrectly played on the wing by previous managers, hence his stock is low.

Like most of the Egypt team he was just going through the motions. I don't know what the Egyptian coach has said to him prior to his three cameo roles but for a guy who's supposed to be a winger he seems to be reluctant to take a player on. Hopefully Wagner can work his magic on him. He's not supposed to be a winger is he? The last thing he will do is belt down the wing and cross from the byline with his left. He was playing wide left so what is he then if not a winger?

A wide midfielder. Can't remember last time Town had a winger - there are probably a couple more recent than Baldry, Thorrington? That's how I think of wingers anyway - Billy Whizz types. If DW wanted to play them like old fashioned wingers he would put right footers on the right side and left footers on the left side? Maybe I'm old fashioned and everyone who plays down the flank is a winger? Having said all that Ramadan can certainly take on and beat a player from what I've seen of him.

Whether you call them wide midfielders or wingers the role is pretty much the same with the main aim to supply ammunition to the strikers. We've all recongnised that we are lacking in this department so I'd have thought that Wagner had signed Sobhi to strengthen that. If he turns out to be a better option in the middle then so be it but if that's the case we certainly need to bring somebody else in to strenthen the wide left role.

Pretty sure he has bought him to replace/challenge VLP - but don't expect him to be a Billy whizz. Not heard of him as a central midfielder / number 10, and he doesn't really shape up like one from what I've seen to date - wide man 😀

Liverpool play 3 up front. Is Salah a winger? Is Mane a winger? This style of football goes up the gut. If an attack slows, the wing backs or full backs provide the cross. Depending on formation. You might not see the correlation to Town but any upgrade in personnel will not move to an old school winger but to a front 3 with a no10 interchanging and creating.

Question Where is he, What was the point of signing him ? Injury prone ? Where, In Huddersfield but injured. What, We yet to see what DW plan is. (He looked promising against Man City). Injury prone, googling his time with stoke it appears he was only injured once or twice. So, no he isn't.

How did he do? I was watching the Uruguay game. From the scoreline, I'm not holding my breath. Like most of the Egypt team he was just going through the motions. I don't know what the Egyptian coach has said to him prior to his three cameo roles but for a guy who's supposed to be a winger he seems to be reluctant to take a player on. Hopefully Wagner can work his magic on him. Once again, an opportunity to tell my Southend-on-Sea joke....drum roll......Bathing at Southend - not so much swimming, more like going through the motions! Thank you, thank you, I'm here all week!

Belongs in the fetish club chat. We have a fetish club chat? Oh yes! Get yourself over to the Honley thread. Pure filth, I hope no one tells Sean Jarvis, although I reckon he's probably a patron of the place.

As my first observations of him I said on here. , never seen a bigger. Arse on a player looked like had lead boots on too I'm not a fan of the "Grammar Police" (*)....... .......however the use of the full stop & comma in that sentence look so obviously wrong you MUST be doing it on purpose (even random key strokes couldn't produce that). You really are a Twit (and that sentence contains a typing error to please Sean Jarvis). (*) Their fourth album was sh*8te
