Would provide competition for vlp. Not much though. 2 goals in 41 appearances for Stoke. I think RVLP is more prolific than that. |

Mixed reception from Stoke fans.
No pace but can beat his man over and over again. Lots of potential, but ruined by poor management. Could do with a season in an easier league to build confidence.
The rumor going round is £5 Million.

I guess he will be competition for VLP as he has played wide left whenever I've seen him. Strong looking lad and can hold on to the ball and beat a man. His positioning always looked good in terms of getting in to goal scoring positions from wide. The Stoke reports suggests he beats people with ease but then not too productive. Good material for DW to work with.

Wouldn't say great, stoke fans think that he is slow and can't do nothing but if we do sign him I think Wagner will make him a better play and get the best out of him

Thought he was away rubbing voltarol into Mo's shoulder at the Egyptian world cup preparations? Those suggesting he's competition for VLP, I'd say from what I've read so far he's already in front of him in turns of top scapegoat. Quite an achievement before he's been unveiled.

This seems to fit with the rumors of Bobby wood and the youngster from, I believe, Nice. Looking at fairly young players that have struggled but were well regarded a few years ago. I like the strategy. Some wont work out but you'll find some quality at a discount. |
