Thought he looked decent against us on boxing day and to me improves the squad when compared to Sabiri and Quaner. Not all of our signings are going to be for £10m+, one or two bargains are needed to enable us to push the boat out for any marquee signings. There are two points in the cycle for buying gifted players, unproven in the Premiership:
1. At the point when the wind's in their sales, they're being massively overhyped, the transfer fee is crazily inflated, and the player believes he can walk on water
2. Things haven't been working out, the transfer fee is depressed, and the player has it all to prove.
Glad the terrier way and the Wagner way is to focus on 2. #Underdogs

It was the Panasonic one. Don't have it anymore. I do remember that the terrier on the  looked more like a chicken. |

Says on Twitter he failed medical and won’t be signing I saw that from a Southhampton followers tweet so I’m not sure how trustworthy they are. The Egypt Football Association, who confirmed on their twitter feed yesterday that Sobhi was in Huddersfield for a medical, said he was back in camp after his medical. I’m sure they would have mentioned something considering how quick they were to tweet the news yesterday. |

He's 21. Massive potential prior to the coaching of Hughes. Massive following which will only benefit us as a club. Sometimes it just doesn't work out at clubs for whatever reason. We are (if reports are true), parting with £5million on a 21 year old who can dribble for fun. Can't wait for this to happen. UTT. You're not expecting Andy to get much out of him then ? 😁 |
