F**k me some people are easily pleased. To be fair, even if they both spend the rest of the season sat in the centre circle shitting in their own hands this will still be their best season at the club, simply because they've each done something positive. Neither is worth anything like what we paid, but they've both improved dramatically this season vs what they were.

F**k me some people are easily pleased. No, some people say it as they see it on the day. With the squad we have, if we can get these two playing at a decent standard it will make a big difference. They have had plenty of stick, and most of it justified on performances, but when they play well it needs to be acknowledged.

They’ve been disappointing but let’s not forget Mbenzas goal against Man Utd and assist against Bournemouth in the Prem, and Diakhabys man of the match performances away against Blackburn and home against Hull.

Lots of people have forgotten that Diakhaby looked electric a few games last year. Perhaps because he was brought in to improve the team in our second season on the prem. ffs. Worst £ for £ signing on our history. Hull mom and another couple of half decent performances doesn’t hide anything I’m still keeping my fingers crossed that Carlos can do something with the twins , if only to try and get some type of value out of them before their contracts expire

I agree they’ve been shit, but you have to admit they’re looking a lot better under a different manager

Diakhaby is no more a professional footballer than I am a marine biologist, one game doesn't change that.

But it did happen.

If you can’t put more than a handful of decent performances in over that period with the money we paid , plus wages, plus playing 2/3rds of that contract in a lower league. I think we have plenty of reasons to be a bit pissed off with their input

No. I’ve stated I hope Carlos gets something out of them. But I’m not holding my breath. So far we’ve had one half decent game out of AD and a couple of decent games out of IM. I really want them to play well and push the team on. Just like I want the rest of them to. The better they play the more chance we have of doing something

I’m cutting both of them some slack at the moment in the hope there is more there than we’ve seen. Mbenza looks a player to me this season. Diakhaby doesn’t, but I’m prepared to see what Carlos can get out of them

Glad to hear he improved today but lots to prove over the coming weeks to remain a permanent fixture in the side

Under CC we don’t have permanent fixtures in the side - we have a group of about 20 players that operate as a squad and are picked based on the game, fitness, opposition etc. How many of us looked at the team he picked for Swansea and Millwall away and thought - Carlos FFS what are you doing!

Funny really, he was unplayable v Hull Their full back shat himself everytime he attacked but he but disappeared a couple of games later.

Diakhaby played well today - never thought I’d write that - Mbenza a bit quiet today but overall having a decent season. I think Mbenza has greater scope for further improvement- not sure how much more we can get out of Diakhaby though. Hopefully they can both keep improving and add some goals between them

I did today when the team was announced and even decided not to watch the game. Then winning at half time changed my thoughts and have got to say we played some cracking football.

They've been largely shit so far but at different times have shown potential. Chopping and changing of managers, formations that didn't include wingers and moving to a new country at fairly young ages will have all had an impact. Diakhaby did have a few games where he was starting to look useful at the start of last season and suddenly got dropped and came back in to the team nowhere near the level he was starting to show. It's not excuses but they're only human at the end of the day, their price tags and the wage we were willing to pay them has nothing to do with them.
For some people I don't think they even bother watching the games and just have it in their heads that them 2 must have been crap today or everytime they have a decent game it's a one off. They're both showing encouraging signs and both still young, if Carlos thinks he can get a tune out of them more regularly then that should be good for all of us it's just a shame a lot of people can't wait to jump on them for a bad game but happy to ignore a good one.

Credit where credit's due, they both had good games today, applaud them for that. Hopefully they'll turn in decent performances every time they play...fingers crossed

What must it have been like for these two young players to arrive in Huddersfield from the South of France, having been sold the dream of Premier League football, only to discover that:
a) the manager was playing a brand of defensive football completely ill-suited to your style of play b) that the club you had signed for couldn't win a game or score a goal, and c) then to be outcasts from a team battling Championship relegation under the Cowleys?
Their renaissance under Carlos is not just a tribute to Carlos. It's a tribute to the characters of Adama and Isaac, who are showing character and humility to emerge from a nightmare couple of years. Time to get behind them.

Diakhaby is the fastest footballer i’ve ever seen. Doesn’t make him a footballer but should mean he’s always a threat.
