Serious question, what do you gain by reporting someone on datm because you dislike there posts? Ignore them.
No wonder the countrys going to pot. Childish, pathetic, and sad.
I want to appeal on his behalf and have this revoked. It serves no purpose. Stop the bannings unless its spam, or a obvious wum. We have the ability to ignore.
Revoke his ban and these tedious, childish rules.

I know this has gone on long enough so apologies.
I have read Otium's posts on the thread in question and have one question regarding - "awarded two yellow cards resulting in a one month ban, for what were considered abusive posts on the thread "Homophobic Chants".
I re read Otium's posts. Can someone confirm where he has been abusive? This is a serious question. Either i need educating as to what an abusive post is or there is no abuse. The abuse seemed to be aimed at him.

Have actually met otium, at stoke last year, introduced by the mayor of Coventry.
A really nice guy, likes a glass of wine š· a chat, a beer šŗ if you donāt like what he puts on datm, tough he doesnāt force you to read it, sometimes I donāt agree with what he says,
But that is his choice, freedom of speech and all that........
Look forward to his next post š

It is a bit of a Michael Oliver ban for me considering what the same guy had posted in the past.
Thereās quite a few debates Iāve read over the years that I maybe agreed with regarding Otiums views to start with but after reading the counter argument my mind had been changed. So not always a bad thing.
I hope he resumes posting even though I strongly disagree with a lot of his opinions.

If you the admins were doing your jobs you would of seen the thread was going down hill and either moved it offtopic or locked it. Not that he said anything wrong. Where did he abuse a poster?
Just un ban him and semd out the message that any subjects straying away from football chat will be moved offtopic. Atleast most on there know the score.
Is he going to be given a pardon or what?

And is two yellows a month's ban? Just to summarise the rules. 2 yellows = red = 1 week ban. Another 2 yellows (4 in total) = red = 1 month ban. Final 2 yellows (6 in total) = red = lifetime ban. Edit: You have to try really hard to get a 1 month or a lifetime ban. |
