First Hoyle says “ we won’t sleepwalk into relegation” Wagner leaves on Monday Takeover rumours Thursday rebbe leaves. Makes me think if we are getting taken over the new owners want there own men on board. We may get the head of recruitment who has just left arsenal and maybe a big name manager. Too many conspiracy theories to this? Maybe but something just isn’t quite right

This smells of Dean having one of his 'corrections' He puts trust in people and lets them get on with it but if it goes too far he does one hell of a good job 'correcting' things. There must be something to make him get rid of Olaf because the others that have come in have either done great jobs or left to pursue further education. Oh...and one things for certain. Theres definitely a plan in place, this is it unfolding.

We are a medium sized club, not big not small. That's part of the attraction. Please let Sir Hoyle remain in charge with all the excellent things he has put in place. Bond with supporters, links with the community, success on the pitch, investment in training facilities for the future. No one else please.

If someone is going to come in this month and throw some money about in January to try save us from relegation he will do for me.

So what is it then know it all Keep your hair on, it's my opinion, I think it shows Dean is as ever trying his best to do the best for HTFC and as Wagner couldn't work with Rebbe's signings he has decided that Rebbe needs replacing so the new manager has a DOF he can work with. If he was handing over the reigns he wouldn't be hiring and firing, unless of course they were conditional to the deal happening, which in my opinion I doubt.

I can't think beyond this being Dean's decision but I REALLY hope the rumours of a rift aren't incorrect and were reading this completely wrong.
Can you imagine if the Wagner resignation came out of the blue, and Rebbe being the long term plan as some suggested - Deano leaving much or the decisions to him in his absence and has now left because Wagner has. That would also explain "thank you and goodbye" message. Added to the earlier article suggesting he got on with Wagner.
And if it was the plan, why did he not go with Wagner on Monday?
I hope I'm far wide of the mark! Anyway his signings have still been appaling!

It fits his M.O. and he has been in London with his NBA team just now. Wonder if he sorted Kongolo out with his tickets...judging by his Instagram he's there tonight

Allardyce hears of a US billionaire possibly taking over at Town and immediately states he NOW feels he could do a job for us

He owns 6 different sports franchises, 3 bought in the last 3 years, and none of them would be what we brits would be likely to call "big" but he has invested in teams with potential. He seems a good fit, has a reputation for a fan-centric approach that strikes a chord when you trhink of what we already do. Exmaple: "In 2009, a season ticket holder informed Leonsis of a homeless man, Scott Lovell, who spent his nights sleeping outside Verizon Center. Leonsis found Lovell a part-time job as a restaurant kitchen worker and provided him with a paid and furnished apartment, a prosthetic leg and Capitals season tickets for life. In return, Lovell vowed to remain clean and sober." His basketball franchise, Washington Wizards, get a comeback 101-100 win tonight. Chairman Ted will be giddy tonight.

It’s no secret that (i’ll say rumoured due to the sensitivity) that Hoyle is ill, therefore it makes sense that he would be wanting to sell, due to complications of health.
This being conveyed to Wagner means it was a good time for him to leave, as knowing there may be new owners, with new plans and implementations and unlikely he’d get the same bond he possesses with Hoyle.. plus the run of the results meant it could be he thought best to leave now due to the circumstances.

Shame... I was at a meeting today by the O2, knew the NBA game was on but hadn't read this thread... Could have tried to make contact with the bloke and asked him a few casual Q's and see if he knew of Mooy, Hogg & Boothy...

We’ve barely scored 101 in 3 seasons Hoyle out!

If was Deans missus I’d be telling him that enough was enough. Health is way way more important. Just imagine if your loved one had possibly had to undergo numerous surgeries and then someone like OPE or similar wanted to buy the club. Let em have it Mr H. You’ve done enough already. Ledge. Cheers.

Does the American guy own the NHL Franchise Washington Capitals? Stanley Cup winners last year. I'd rather he took us over than OPE or the Chinese for that matter. Don't think OPE would put in significant investment.
