Don't forget there are 2500 Terrier members waiting for a season card - the "substitutes". I have a hunch we may not reach 18,000, but it will be close. Need to start winning at home to get a feel good factor back - then more may renew. Do we really think there are people desperately waiting for a chance to pick up a season ticket for the Championship, did you see the empty seats v Everton? The members were listed at the start of this season. Not last week.

Thanks for that info, and from you Artysid. The renewal all looked a bit strange, the email confirmation I got was quite different to the one I get when I buy match tickets, and seemed more of an error message. I did ring them on Friday to check, the person at the ticket office confirmed it was all okay and had been renewed and it has gone on my credit card. I'll give them a ring tomorrow to find out what's happening. I got this same error email and no voucher code. I've just rung the ticket office and it seems there has been a problem with some of the renewals - I was told the issue affected ones that were done on the 29th, 30th or 31st January (maybe not all the ones done on that date). The ticket office is aware of the problem. The £10 deal finishes on Monday so the plan is for them to check which ones haven't been sent on Tuesday and make sure they are sent out again. I was asked to ring back if I hadn't received anything by the end of next week.

The members were listed at the start of this season. Not last week. I think SJ said only last week,..remember there are 2000+ members waiting to take your place if you dont renew. Arsenal has not sold out yet and i fear there could be a few empty seats this weekend. Don't think anyone could really be that surprised if there are a few hundred empty seats for any games between now and the end of the season.

There’s less than 100 tickets left for tomorrow so not bad going considering. I appreciate there will be empty seats but as for ‘seats sold’ it’s borderline sellout.

I know that, you know that, but the clubs message to those considering not renewing is one of “sorry to see you people go, but we’ve got 2500 people happily waiting to take your seat”...which is a slightly misleading message.

Not too worried about next season, think we'll sell a lot providing there is some promise for the remainder of the season, if we stagnate next season though the season after will be a massive drop off, probably back down to pre Wagner levels or even less.
The problem is now we've lived the dream, reached the promised land and made a massive balls up of it, me personally I think it has all been avoidable but there will be some who think why bother, the dream has gone, we can never compete in the top division again. I spent 35 years dreaming we perhaps could, I still think we could but for a few this last season may have killed the dream.

By not winning 30% of our games in the top division in English football in an era that is driven by money and countries funding some teams? We've done well. We've done better than I imagined we would do, and I'm pleased we haven't thrown all our money at it. We've had a go and last season we had more luck, and more momentum. This season we haven't had any luck and we've been hampered by Dean's illness and him not being there to drive the club forward in his image, and we had a waning Wagner trying to reinvigorate players who perhaps needed to hear a different voice. We'll be relegated with an inflated bank balance, a better squad, and the knowledge that we can all regroup and come again by succeeding next year in a tough league where if we get promoted again in the near future we will have learned a lot of lessons.

I appreciate there will be empty seats but as for ‘seats sold’ it’s borderline sellout. I think we will sell sufficient season tickets and will continue to shift match day tickets this season, but as other posters have said it will be the empty seats that hurt the atmosphere. Its only a better spectacle that will fix that. Its probably not wise to say that there are people waiting to take your seat. It could end up being a phrase that comes back to haunt our marketing supremo. But if there are people waiting whats the harm in saying it? I wouldn't think every single person who was waiting for a season ticket has now thought bollocks to it. People read too much in to public announcements and then wait to jump on the back of whoever said it when it goes tits up. People just need to cut others a bit of slack. People are just trying to do their job of promoting a club.

Have a look at the league table and the fact we sacked the sporting director after less than a year and lost the best manager in living memory after failing to deliver the players he needed to implement his preferred systems. I don't think I'm being harsh classing it as a massive balls up. How would you class it? Just Unlucky?!

Is 13 points the difference between doing well and making a massive balls up? Many factors (including those stated earlier) have contributed towards where we find ourselves in the table but at no point ever have we ballsed up this season so not only are you being harsh you are wrong. In my opinion of course Mistakes may have been made. In retrospect we may have made other decisions if given the opportunity again, but they are not massive balls up. They are mistakes with the benefit of hindsight. We have been unlucky this season (especially early season) and the absence of Dean (coupled with the withering desire of Wagner, and his inability to tweak the system to get us more goalscoring opportunities) should not be overlooked when surmising why we are bottom of the league.

You do know we're on course to be one of the, if not the worst team in PL history don't you? That doesn't happen through bad luck, it happens through bad decision making in several areas. I don't think Dean will share your view that spending £25M to make the first team worse than it was the previous season can be classed as anything other than a massive balls up £25M, doesn't sound much if you say it quickly. This isn't just hindsight either, I dare say if you were to look back on this board during the summer you would find a lot of people slightly worried about the strange incomings and outgoings. The fact all of our expensive signings weren't rated by previous clubs fans was a good indicator, always is, smacks of poor scouting and research (massive balls up).

People are just trying to do their job of promoting a club. You seem really sensitive to the clubs output and comments about it, be it criticism or just commentary. I doubt if many think its a mortal sin to say what our marketeer has said, in my opinion its quite funny and if it doesnt happen then some will tease SJ and co for it. I'll assume you dont want to discuss Sleepwalking and leave it at that. Just to confirm im happy to cut the club as a whole plenty of slack. I'm really not sensitive to the club's output. The sentence that made me respond was 'It could end up being a phrase that comes back to haunt our marketing supremo.' It would only come back to haunt him if people make an issue out of it, like people always do on social media. It's not aimed directly at you at all but the current trend of nonsense, moral smugness and self righteous statements aimed at people on social media is ridiculous. It is just my personal beef with society, just coincidence that your post made me point this out. Like i said, not directed at you so don't take offence.

I’d hope what they might say would just be the kind of stuff they normally say, rather than implying some kind of fake demand...you’d think the club would be wary about saying the kind of stuff that can come back to bite them by now.

We have two family members desperate to become SC and have been on that waiting list .Neither are deterred by probability of being in the Championship .If our daughter gets suitable future part-time job then that will make three .

It's obviously a technology problem, not a problem with the staff there. I've spoken to them on more than one occasion and have always found them incredibly helpful. They are aware of the problem and have already put a plan in place to deal with it.

There's no doubt that there will be some empty seats next season, charging £5 a seat won't rectify the problem, an improved finish to this season with goals and wins will help, a strong start to the new season will solve the empty seat / atmosphere issues.

Nope just sick to death of emailing and phoning them about ticket forwarding errors and website errors which Sue just fobs off with, 'we'll raise it with ticketmaster' to then never hear anything back. Regarding the voucher code, I just got told to check my other email address!

Sounds like they're trying to sort the problem out now. I've just received the correct email to say thank you for renewing and my £10 gift code. So well done to them for sorting it out.

Is there a season ticket renewal pack being sent out?
If so when did they do it?
Nothing received here on the Notts / Leicestershire border.
