I wouldn't mind betting we're not far off the 18,000 when all is done.

I wouldn't mind betting we're not far off the 18,000 when all is done. Yeah i think we will get close to 18000. It's next season where i think the big drop off will come if we struggle in the championship, and when prices go up.

It's next season where i think the big drop off will come if we struggle in the championship, and when prices go up. if prices go up we'll be lucky to sell 11,000 never mind 18,000. Sometimes you hit a nice sweet spot and the club has done that I think.

That's the sales target this year I'll be amazed if we hit that Dunno, we hit 17500 last time in the champ at albeit a slightly lower price. Hopefully we've kept a few of the new prem fans as well. I don't think it's that inconceivable.

Did they go on sale at the same time last year though?

This is excellent news, lets hope it continues and is not just the regulars getting in early followed by a slump in sales. Personally i think we will sell a lot more than some expect. The big issue is will there be empty seats ( season ticket holders who dont attend) or will the fans fill the stadium. I hope we dont return to the days of 12,000 crowds. It would be especially painful after the last few years of full houses

I have renewed our 3 seats. If we do hit the 18000 mark think that will be a good result.

I hope we don’t quite sell out just so I can move seats away from the annoying twats in front

I've always had an aisle seat, cons - you get loads of late arrivals and early leavers going past you. pluses - easy access and 50% less chance of being sat next to a git.

I hope we don’t quite sell out just so I can move seats away from the annoying twats in front Rather than you having to move, wouldn’t it be great if you could change their seats? I’ll renew to watch some more competitive matches than this season but it’ll take me a few weeks to be bothered, no doubt.

Good point, there’s slightly increased incentive to renew earlier this time, so a slightly accelerated sales figure after the same time should be expected. The first 8 to 12,000 sales will probably happen at similar rate to previous years, it’s what happens next that will count. I never really understand why people renew early to be honest...and a £10 voucher for a shop I’ve had no interest in buying anything from in the last 10 years doesn’t particularly incentivise me to do so!

Has anybody who bought their season ticket online actually received their £10 voucher? It said it would take 3 days but I did my renewal last Wednesday and still haven't received anything yet.

Yes got mine day after renewing online. Thanks for that info, and from you Artysid. The renewal all looked a bit strange, the email confirmation I got was quite different to the one I get when I buy match tickets, and seemed more of an error message. I did ring them on Friday to check, the person at the ticket office confirmed it was all okay and had been renewed and it has gone on my credit card. I'll give them a ring tomorrow to find out what's happening.

Don't forget there are 2500 Terrier members waiting for a season card - the "substitutes". I have a hunch we may not reach 18,000, but it will be close. Need to start winning at home to get a feel good factor back - then more may renew.

Do we really think there are people desperately waiting for a chance to pick up a season ticket for the Championship, did you see the empty seats v Everton?
