Going to take some shifting in the championship without No Limits Wagner.... They may be wise to look at pricing. No chance the prices are reduced. No chance of a full stadium either. Unless the new manager has a wagner/klopp personality... sad sad day.

Renewal date opens this coming Monday; with all the news we’ve had this week is anyone on here not biting the bullet and letting theirs go?
Has DW going, continued losses, probable relegation back to the Championship, the possible appointment of another unknown just sapped the spirit and enjoyment out of going down to the JSS regardless of the frozen cheap prices. Or is it a case of, I’m going anyway, stop reminiscing and let’s see what the new guy brings to the table - August is a new season!

It's become a chore watching us this season knowing we will set up the same way, only score 1 goal at best and likely lose. A new manager will liven the club up again and Championship football is far more exciting for a club like ours than desperately trying not to get spanked every week up here

with our legendary manager now leaving ,im wondering if this will impact on people for renewing next season ,depending on who we bring in of course The thing is shedds, if fans base their decision on that it’s probably a good thing they don’t renew so that seats can be filled by town fans who are loyal to town, not a manager.

I was considering NOT renewing for the first time since the 1970s. It's been hell to watch this season and I couldn't stand the thought of paying again to see more of the same dross being served up for another year. Now, provided that we get a manager who will play fast, exciting, attacking football in whichever division we are in, you can count me in.

I wasn't considering not renewing as, after 35 years, it's a hard habit to break (and I don't want to lose the good seats that I have). However, it's been very hard work watching this season and I, for one, would much rather be in a division where we have a chance of competing than in one where we are going most weeks expecting to lose.

A WW2 helmet worn by a Town right back who played a couple of games in the 30's - the extent and variability of your collection never fails to amaze

I genuinely respect your honesty but I don't think dross is a fair reflection of the football this season, as admittedly frustration it has been. I would also challenge your logic, you renewed when we have seen some truly turgid rubbish but you consider not when we are as high as we've been in 50 years?

I’m dreading the time when 450 mile round trips for home games becomes too much. Not there yet though. Maybe start to let the train take the strain?

I'm getting older, the travelling is getting to me now, and I'm on the verge of moving even further away from Huddersfield. Like I said, another season of the kind of fare served up so far would have pushed me over the edge. And the thing about the turgid rubbish under Wadsworth, Powell, Robins, et alia, not disputing that but at least we scored goals and had belief that we might actually win some games. This season I have had absolutely no confidence in either the players or the manager to be able to turn things around. Again, my honest opinion which, I know, is highly unpopular on here.

I would never criticise anyone for not attending games at all. I wouldn't agree with your view on this season, I take the view Danny Higginbottom expressed this week but people see things in different ways.

Interesting to see how many Premier League “Glory Hunters” will renew their tickets. A true Town Fan will renew no matter what.

Why would anyone want there to be fewer fans there next season (losing “plastic” fans)? Surely you want as many as possible to maintain the atmosphere. Or is it a pissing contest to see who can stay as a fan under the worst conditions? Get over yourselves, and if you know of someone giving up their SC, find a mate to take it up. You will still have the ego trip of having had the SC for longer.

Thankyou, must admit i'm surprised by that. I was too. More so at West Ham, being a London club. Must be the Alf Garnet influence. Is this serious or tongue in cheek?

It's your prerogative and I doubt I'd travel so far for a repeat of what it has felt like after Brighton, but you do come across a bit short sighted.
