Needs never play for Town again.
We need a back 4 that looks like it knows what its doing and that back tonight whilst imperfect, can at least hold itself together against a decent outfit.

Iâve still got a lot of time for Zanka Heâs out of form right now but still a good player and was quality last season I agree on the one hand mate, hes part of that great effort last year and hes a good guy. I'm not convinced that we aren't lopsided with him in the team and schindy and a left sided CB and whilst we are almost certainly down we need to be as balanced as possible all over the pitch and especially at the back. |

Any need for this? He's our 3rd choice centre half and I'm sure we'll need him again this year. He's not playing well at the moment, but then neither were quite a few before tonight.
The guy was a huge part in keeping us up last year and deserves more respect than that.

Fair play mate, I'm probably frustrated at not seeing a kongolo/schindy pairing all season and then we do and it turns out ok. Couple that with the Denmark manager saying he needs to leave, his drop in form and where we are at and tonight's performance I'd happily see him on the bench for the next 10 games. |

I've no problem with Zanka. He's always given his all during his time at the club.
There is no doubt his form has dropped off and the Zanka/Schindler pairing has been less consistent.
Still, even at the end of tonights game, he walked around and gave the fans a clap and clearly a well liked person in the squad/club.
He's a good lad who's lost form and certainly doesn't deserve some of the heavy criticism he received lately with stuff like 'should never paly for the club again'.
He was a big part of last season.

Zanka was great last season. His form got him a starting place in the Danish team for the World Cup. Something he was clearly chasing and it was fully deserved.
Flo and Depoitre were also gunning for places in their nations respective squads but just missed out.
Interesting how all 3 have been gash this season....

I expect Zanka will leave at the end of the season to pursue his international career if nothing else. Same goes for Kongolo.
Their quality is way above Lynch and Hudson, who were our main centre backs in the 2015/2016 Championship season.
For that reason, I hope they both stay. However, I will be devastated if Schindler goes!

Let's not throw the lads under the bus after 1 victory...
The reason we won last night wasn't just the radical team changes, it was the uplift in a positive mindset, players being allowed to break at will & support the front 2. Opposition will have studied us and although I put our lethargy in some of the games more down to a mental state than tactics, I expect they'll have possibly viewed it as being something we wouldn't be able to snap out of.
We made Wolves look largely ineffective for most of the game. They had a little bit of possession and pressure for about 15-20 mins in the 2nd half & a couple of breaks in the first half, but overall we nullified their main threats really well. The commentators were mentioning that they've scored quite a few winning goals in the last 10 mins of games, so it was nice to see us up the tempo in that period to nullify that threat even more...
On to Brighton...

Donât forget he was away all summer at the World Cup. He was an ever present last year (I think) and started most of our games before DW left.
Thatâs 18months of solid football, a week or two to recharge mentallyand physically will see him back to his best.

Zanka goes sprinting out of his position to try and win balls he doesn't need to. Sometimes gets away with it against bottom half teams but looks an idiot when he tries it against the top players at this level
His distribution can be dreadful too. He has a bad habit of hitting it out of play when trying to feed it down the line
