As a player i don't have any issues with Zanka okay he could screw up but i think he would look to put a shift in. Not done himself any favours by going public though could of handled things better.

As we dislike the Danes here, some others too, you have to remember, as shit as we think they are and as much as they have become arseholes, someone will take them in the Premier League tbh. Its the same with managers, certain ones seem to get top flight jobs, even though theyre shit. Players are the same and the magic merry-go-round will continue. Maybe a few will be top flight footballers abroad, but there will be a few from this club plying their trade in the Premier League, irrespective if we think they are shite

My mate who lives nearby felt he had to inform me that he was in a sushi bar in Meanwood a few days ago so if he is, he decided to come back for some food.

Exactly. We can't be too critical when it comes to some of these players leaving, they've done us proud at times. We can't forget Zanka was playing CL football before he joined us, regardless of the level.

My mate played in the Champions League for TNS and i wouldnt have him in Guiseleys team

He was magnificent in a superb team performance

Kongolo has saved us on many occasions however. In fairness there arent many players bar Grant who can say theyve progressed this season. Shame really

It's his lack of professionalism that has cost him respect. Schindy and kongolo have got on with the job, as difficult as it has been. The management are responsible for this season as per dean, but not putting a shift in and saying I'm leaving/disrupting the dressing room = no pay in my role after a misconduct meeting or 2.

I detected the change in Zanka after the World cup when his 'Zankatime' and general fan interaction declined/disappeared.
Credit to him, he did always walk round and clap the fans in the stadium if he was playing/on the bench.

Not a dig at you greyarea but it's a pretty sad reflection that someone who is getting paid almost two million pounds a year ( £35k a week ) is praised by fans earning around £35k a year ( average wage ) for taking time out to thank them for spending hard earned money to support him, especially as the majority of those fans would pay to swap places.

The point bring made is that all the players are being paid that, but only a few acknowledged the fans after a game, win or lose, and zanka & Lossl were 2 of them.

Zanka actually played in the CL group stages for FC Copenhagen.

I get that, the point I was making is it should of course be a given that all the players take 30 seconds or so of their time at the end of a game to acknowledge their teams fans - the majority of course do. I understand that Zanka is now getting stick for the circumstances of his leaving our club and greyarea was merely pointing out that at least he used to acknowledge the support, fair enough but as I said that should be taken for granted, it was also a nice gesture on his part to buy all of us at Saints last year a drink, (1600 x £3.50 = £5,600 worth of a nice gesture) but the fact remains the way he has chosen to leave our club has not gone down well with the majority of us. Addition I would also argue with your claim that only a few Town players bother, I'm sure most Town fans know that it's usually the vast majority, all the time.

On the contrary, majority of this season very few have acknowledged fans after a home match unless we won.....which......how he had chosen to leave is another matter. But when he played, he was one of very few that walked aid the whole pitch afterwards.
