There is something rotten in the state of Denmark. Will Shakespeare said that, but long long before football was invented.
This was referring to a ghost.
Is there a ghost hovering over Kilner Bank as we lament about the Premier League?

I get that, the point I was making is it should of course be a given that all the players take 30 seconds or so of their time at the end of a game to acknowledge their teams fans - the majority of course do. I understand that Zanka is now getting stick for the circumstances of his leaving our club and greyarea was merely pointing out that at least he used to acknowledge the support, fair enough but as I said that should be taken for granted, it was also a nice gesture on his part to buy all of us at Saints last year a drink, (1600 x £3.50 = £5,600 worth of a nice gesture) but the fact remains the way he has chosen to leave our club has not gone down well with the majority of us. Addition I would also argue with your claim that only a few Town players bother, I'm sure most Town fans know that it's usually the vast majority, all the time. On the contrary, majority of this season very few have acknowledged fans after a home match unless we won.....which......how he had chosen to leave is another matter. But when he played, he was one of very few that walked aid the whole pitch afterwards. We'll have to agree to differ, I've missed 3 away games and in every one I've been to my point regarding the vast majority stands, that's a fact, likewise the point that he only did what he actually should have done, you can choose to be impressed by that if you want, I choose not to be.

Doesn't feel like long ago he was buying every fan a drink.... Bribery ? Did you like many other fans accept and enjoy the gesture

Who actually will make a bid for him that makes it worthwhile letting him go?
We’ll have terms to pay up for his remaining contracted year which will eat into any incoming fee.

We of course don’t know what goes on 100% behind the scenes but if he requests a move then the club won’t have to pay his remaining year. You’d think we’d get slightly more than what we paid for him but if not, be nice to get rid.

It might be a while before we see another Town player who scores in the world cup finals whilst still with us (though if they expand it to more teams then I could be proved wrong I suppose) so we'll just him a hearty farewell and hope we might make a bit of profit or at least cover any potential losses.

Hopefully we can chuck in a couple of extra lads on a "BOGOF" offer.
"I'll drive them there myself" etc.

Perhaps you forgot that Lossl is out of contract, so don't think we will be getting any money for him. Would settle for 2 or 3 million for Zanka though.

You cant bri ng Champions League into it and saying regardless of level. My mate played in the Champions League for TNS and i wouldnt have him in Guiseleys team That wasn’t the CL (with TNS). It was the qualifiers. Zanka actually played in the CL group stages for FC Copenhagen. He did play in the group stage correct. But TNS, it is the Champions League either way.......

My mate who lives nearby felt he had to inform me that he was in a sushi bar in Meanwood a few days ago so if he is, he decided to come back for some food. There isn't a sushi bar in Meanwood

Zanka has been decent for us overall. Helped us stay up last season. Good luck to him wherever he goes. We move on.

Hopefully Wagner comes in for Hamer, hadajonaj, zanka, durm, louwe, billing, William's, quanner, Pritchard and mounie.... about 45 million should cover it.

I disagree with most on here as I thought he was our best defender last season. Good luck to him in the future.

I liked him but he came back from having an excellent world cup in russia and played like he thought it was easy for him.. which it certainly wasn't, and never looked the same player for us again. Think he maybe started to believe the hype of his international manager and his agent.

Statistically he was comfortably our best defender last season in terms or tackles, interceptions and blocks. Seems his attitude changed a bit behind the scenes but fully concentrated and committed he would walk in to our team at the moment so him leaving is a shame.
