He allegedly told a 15 year old lass to "fuck off" when she asked him for his signature in the petrol station....... not sure if that was mentioned along with his half arsed training, I'd be 95% sure it will have got back to Deano. i suspect there has been more made of this than warrants it.! Possibly... even if he just said "No" it speaks of his personality fit with Town.

Refusing an autograph for a 9 year old! Disgusting and goes against everything the club has built over the last few years - bond between players and fans. Get rid asap. He allegedly told a 15 year old lass to "fuck off" when she asked him for his signature in the petrol station....... not sure if that was mentioned along with his half arsed training, I'd be 95% sure it will have got back to Deano. I'm 100% sure you're making shit up, as usual.

"Allegedly". "The petrol station". Sounds like utter bollocks, or has this come straight off the trusty news network? I don't really want Puncheon here I think he's a waste of a wage and as he isn't going to be here next season he's taking up a place that could be used either for experience or continuity, I'm not going to start making shit up though.

Cant say he definitely did it as I wasn't there... but 100% confirm that I was told it happened after the Everton game in the BP petrol station. If it did or didn't only probably the 15 year old and puncheon knows.... I'd not mentioned it... he then refuses a 9 year old an autograph and it becomes relevant. Like I say, no doubt in my mind it would have been reported to deano.

You're not even a good wum.

But...... Who REALLY signed off the signing....and why? Exactly. Who actually thought this was a good signing? What was the actual point of signing Jason Puncheon? If it was a Wagner signing it shows how mad he went toward the end. I genuinely believe a few thought we'd signed some Croydon Pirlo, except even slower and without the ability to create space for himself, or pick out a pass. He's shite, stealing for a living. Fuck him off back to Palace I’d suspect our Head of Recruitment had something to do with it. Time to sack him, too.

I asked this in a thread I started a week or so ago and was given the answer cos at the time we had Mooy and Williams injured. I kinda knew that - what I really meant was why Puncheon ? Someone had previously ventured cos he and Hughes were together at Palace and so he knew him. Five years ago Puncheon was a decent player - but is this really the best we could do at a time when we still looked to have a chance to fight for our PL place

It’s clear he had ability, but hasn’t done anywhere near enough to suggest he is a key recruitment requirement this summer. Have no idea what’s gone on behind the scenes but we should just say bye now and move on. He isn’t good enough and doesn’t deliver enough to have to deal with baggage.

No idea whether there's been a fall out or if he's been a twat to autograph hunters. He has, however, been an absolutely pointless waste of a loan signing.

I genuinely thought he had retired when we signed him , I guess as an emergency , emergency squad player hes ok but for what we needed in January was a total waste of time and money and to boot (allegedly) he’s a bell end , brill

Not sure if that's tongue in cheek or not (presume it is), but that's not really how it works. The manager has the final say on first team signings, if there is someone he wants then the recruitment dept and DoF go get him. Andrew Hughes was the one who also suggested Kasey Palmer. The head of recruitment is more likely to propose and identify targets, but if the manager doesn't want them then it's less likely to get done. Unless we find ourselves in a Powell/Jamie Paterson situation again.

Siewart seems to be quite an angry chap. I hope it goes well next season otherwise we could witness some Lee Clark style meltdown interviews He was being interviewed post match after a defeat and he had to answer questions not directly connected to the game his team have just lost. The solution to this, for me, is for Mel Booth not to ask questions about players who are not connected with the defeat at a time when the manager is obviously really pissed about losing the game. Mel needs copy and Jan is steaming about players switching off at a free kick. Time and place Mel - wrong on both counts.

Don't think they've finalised the settlements yet.

AHEM
Former Southampton and Crystal Palace midfielder Jason Puncheon has joined Cypriot side Pafos FC, with the club heralding the signing as "the greatest transfer" in their history.
The 33-year-old has joined on a free transfer after leaving Palace, signing a two-year deal.
Pafos said they were getting a player who "is brilliant on both wings."
"This is one of the most important transfers in Cypriot football," their statement added.
Puncheon, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Huddersfield from Palace, added: "I am honoured to be joining Pafos FC
