Watched the 2nd half yesterday. Enjoyed it, though i expected the technical standard to be better than it was.
Phil seemed very angry at the end so maybe our lot can play a lot better than that.

we have a laugh at some mens players 'appearances' as we then are allowed to do the same with the ladies.
unfortunately when we get to the 'attractiveness' of the ladies we sort of ignore the fact we would have a bloke who looked like Frankenstein playing for town if he was good enough and we would 'love' him for it...
2 best mens players in the world are very different in the 'selling' of their looks, im afraid we as blokes went along with 'how' players look long before the ladies game became popularised..
the ladies england left back always has the big eye lashes the same as Ronnie always has the hair gel and others have lines shaved and colours in their hair???
the current scotland mens team would have folded at 2 down and the current England mens team would have sat off and tried to see it out at 2 up.. second half yesterday was still a competetive event..

Women's tennis is as good to watch as the mens, they're technically just as good Women's football (and not just the pace of the game) is a million miles behind the men. There's been instances in all the games so far that have made me laugh out loud The men's C team world cup should get far more coverage than this rubbish does Kongolo - I had the misfortune to sit through our England men's team last two matches - admittedly I didn't laugh out loud because I'd fallen asleep. On a serious note why is the women's game "a million miles" behind the men's game ? I've seen more attempts to play decent football (pass, move,attack) than in many many Premier league matches this season, not even considering the rubbish that Town have served up.Two of Sterling's misses today would have been mercilessly mocked if it had been a women's match. Want to bet that the Women's world Cup final will be a lot more entertaining than watching Europe's finalists Liverpool and Spurs a short while ago ? Depends what you call entertaining If players constantly miscontrolling the ball, giving it away, defending appallingly etc equals entertaining then you have a point But if that was entertainment then Huddersfiled District League Reserve Division 4 would be shown on tv and not the Premier League |

Argentina are still some way behind the top sides and Japan look they are in transition, saying their next goal is really the next Olympics. If Scotland get the run of the green they could qualify out if this group with England which would be great for their first WC comp.

Other observations
1. White England tops certainly improve the look for those who are looking but yet to see a top tottie England lass although Alex Greenwood is getting there both in her balls skills and tottie ability...mEAD WOULD GET HALF A VOTE AS WELL
2. Munter of the game - Scotland coach or their Zig and Zag lookealikey goalie.....face like a midge landing on a cows arse at speed.
3. Football - dubious quality.....certainly a game of two halves and on that performance I am afraid it "wont be coming home"
Onwards and upwards - next report on the Tottie Ability and Tittie Pokies Ability to follow......(thats assuming I dont get kicked in the nutz beforehand by some crazed midget lady footballer (Calm Down DEAR !)

Having agreed earlier in this thread that the women don't cheat like the men the Yanks however seem to have it down to a fine art, 3 dives in the first half alone, I suppose there's more money involved over there.

Some of you would look out of place in the 1800's... once the sponsors start taking it more seriously the blokes who will never 'come round' won't matter.. I do think however that the outcry about not being treated equally from some associated with the ladies game is very premature, given they are starting from a very, very, very long way behind the blokes game.. I want it all and I want it now, approach won't work.. |

There was quite a bit in the England v Scotland game. Time wasting that most PL teams would have been proud of. Doesn't take away from the technical ability, but does disappoint a tad that they use similar tactics. |
