What is the significance, if any, of the armoured helmet and leafy bits (for want of a better description)? I know it was part of the original  but I've never understood why. Is it just to make it appear more regal? Just left over from the proper Huddersfield , I think, the one on the wall of the Civic Centre and the retro 1920's shirts |

What is everybody’s opinion on the new ? Too fussy for me too many things, A dog sat on a helmet looks wrong too. i used to look forward to that after 10 pints down Batley on a saturday night |

It’s not the shit dog on its own. It actually says Huddersfield Town. For those two reasons it’s miles better.

It doesn't go far enough IMO. I'm a fan of simple and modern designs. It doesnt mean we cant still nod to history at the same time. Would like to see the suit of armour head removed, and a simplification of the ends of the name riband. Bringing the three stars inside is good for the size of the badge. I would like to see an image of the terrier shitting on a leeds badge 🐶💩 Wouldn't that make 2 shits and therefore a double negative  |

Minor changes but it's better IMO, however, I hope this is a transition to prevent too many moaners coming out of the woodwork from a more drastic change. I still think its a bit cluttered with no need for the helmet, coat of arms, or the leaning tower of Huddersfield that's cracked. Definitely no need for all 3. Hopefully they'll modernise it a bit more after a year or two. |

With anything (especially on here) you are not going to please everyone. I understand and agree it could do with being tidied up a bit but overall I really like it. Next on the moan agenda for people will be the new kit!

Pompey for Head of Design. Haven’t had chance to read about it yet but does it say who has actually done it? Can’t believe an actual creative agency would use such bad colour gradients and about 6 different stroke/outline widths. I know most people won’t care about the finer details like that but it’s stuff that is really so basic to any designer. Looks like this has been thrown together by someone who thinks they can work photoshop and screams of us taking the cheap option instead of getting someone to do a proper job. It’s exactly that, it’s been done on the cheap. |

Not sure about the more modern terrier on the top, but in general it's fine. Particularly like the way the three stars have now been incorporated into the badge. I'd lose the shield myself - never been a fan of it, whatever the shape.
I'm also glad they've announced the badges will be embroidered on the new kits. No more of that rubberised shite.
