Club name...check...terrier...check...castle hill...check...3 stars...check...blue & white stripes...check...yorkshire rose...check. Fine by me. Is the Yorkshire rose the symbol in the blue and white stripes? Looks sharp to me. I remember when the Denver Broncos changed their logo to the current cyber horse in 1997. Huge sh*t storm from the fanbase, myself included. They won the Super Bowl for the first time that season. So based on my sample size of one, Town will win the Championship next year and get promoted. Huzzah!

It’s a bit of a mess isn’t it? I heard from a reliable source that Phil Bill and his agents designed it ... I’m also told that the animal at the top is the lesser-sighted flange panda. Just what I heard, don’t shoot the messenger!

is ok, shield is crap. Personally I'd ditch the dog, any dog. I've never been a fan of the Terriers identity. It'll always be just plain and simple "Town" to me.

The dog faces sideways.
The coat of arms faces forwards.
The armour faces midway between the 2.
Total mess.

Not sure what relevance it has to Hudds Town 🤷♂️

I think we have made the badge complicated to reduce the number of counterfeits made in China.

Can the OP add a poll to this thread? Would love to see just what the overall feeling is.

OK.Gonna get me tin hat on.
Should just be the new terrier.
Still far too much going on. Blue & white feather boa(?) & knights helmet are so dated
Ribbon & text still look like a Windows 95 word/clipart combo.
Castle Hill Tower still looks like the 'Shavers only' plug socket diagram.

We do we insist on a shield? It’s never looked good and it never will. No other clubs seem to need a shield to “aid the application process”
Just get rid of it ffs

I believe the shield is also there so the badge isnt "lost" in the stripes of next seasons kit. I could be wrong. The club have confirmed the shield will only be applied to the kit though with the shield then removed for things such as TV etc

Not to bothered by the shield on the replica shirts as long as it's just the on the polo and tee shirts.

Fair bit out of date that article I realise that, we're not in it for a start. However, West Ham, Burnley, Arsenal, West Brom, L**ds, Rotherham, Hull City and Bournemouth badges haven't changed a great deal.

Fucking shit.
Looks like a 12 year old with adhd has been let loose with photoshop after 4 cans of red bull.
Edit- to be fair I don’t really have any issues bar the dog.

why always have jubilee tower on it ? get. emleymor mast on ! Because the Victoria Tower not the Jubilee Tower, no such thing, is on the original Huddersfield coat of arms.

Quite a few shields in that lot, although most are integral to the design, not an added extra like ours. No idea why we have it. The on its own is fine as it is.

As long as its embroidered, rather than that rubberised stuff we used for the Terrier logo last season, I can live with it.
