The last thing people on here want is sensible debate, facts and the truth from the horse’s mouth. He defended Uncle Ken and said he was poorly treated, I bet that gets glossed over. Said Rhodes & Butterfield were good blokes, said Billing rang him after the move to thank him. Spoke highly of pretty much every DATM villain over the last 10 years. Such insights will ruin this forum! Do you believe everything though ? Ruddy 'ell Nick.

I find it incredible that a forum which spends every day dissecting things HTFC hardly ever mention this thing of beauty.. as i said to Matt it's as good as any club podcast in the country.. To paraphrase Monty Python, "he's not poorly treated, he's a very naughty boy" As you say, not everything is always black and white and there are several shades of grey depending on where your standpoint is. Thankfully it's all resolved and everyone survived the long-running feud intact - albeit in my case minus more hair

Great listening, just got to the bit about Steve Black, he was sacked for calling DH a disloyal twat in front of all the players and staff. This vaguely rings a bell, what caused Black to say that? After a defeat at Oldham where afterwards Dean gave the players a minor roasting in his programme notes. Great way to request your P45 calling your boss a twat in front of most of the workforce! Sent from my SM-G920F using proboards

Seeing the players around Canalside the following week, he realised how much they did care and admitted he was wrong to write those notes.

Hoyle’s radio shows were always brilliant to listen to. If I’m honest I haven’t got over his leaving. I had other aspirations for Town under Hoyle but it wasn’t to be. I found him an inspiring force and a local businessman I looked up to. I’m not inspired by personal injury lawyers.

Money, egos and football. Other than the bollox that was 'footballer's Wives' you would think there is a shit load there for a TV series? Dean's views are very interesting but unless you get the other's involved honest and free views then you are still somewhat in the dark. UTT

Big ego Blackie after his successful and much documented spell with Jinny Wilkinson. He lived next door to me at lascelles Hall that season and it was brilliant coming home and having a brief sung exchange when we’d won- as we did quite often then! I remember his sacking as he literally left the house straight away. Good times though.

Sat on a sunbed with a book 95% finished alongside me. Its had to wait whilst I relive the last 10 years of supporting this great club.
This is a brilliant documentary of the last few years and brings a tear to the eye on more than one occasion.
Well done everyone, and anytime Dean wants to pay my bar bill in ChinaWhites he’s more than welcome.
No way should you just want the edited highlights - let it unravel like the great novel it is - complete with the saddling final act.
Unmissable.

I listened to the Sean Jarvis pod cast last week while lying on a sunbed and really enjoyed it
This one is a different level. Find yourself a quiet corner and listen. Absolutely priceless
These guys really need to start advertising this on here when they do one of these.
Brilliant stuff

Just listened this morning, a fitting tribute and document of what was a special 10 years.
The only interesting omission was any comment about Siewert and how he may get on and how challenging the initial few months were for him.

I trust no one else but don't let it get in the way of living a life, just check a bit more and prepare for good/bad outcomes if its an important decision. If you only check yourself and your kit it won't be you letting the others down but it could easily affect you badly if they haven't. Stuck with me im afraid, no apologies. In relation to Deans comments, still would like to hear the other views if I could before 'Knighting him or finding out he is human'...

Had such a busy day planned and planned to just have a quick listen, perhaps half an hour and leave the rest for later. 3 and a half hours later, I’ve not done the lawn, been to Town or tidied the Garage. Instead I’ve just been engrossed and on a roller coaster ride of emotional memories of the last 10 years. Great podcast. There’s only one Dean Hoyle.

I have sunbathed for a bit, driven into Town(its some old buildings with a bar/post office and a donkey shelter to be honest) and then got a tractor going with some spanners, WD40 and a rudimentary knowledge of pre historic diesel engines, before lying down for a bit, again all whilst listening to Dean. I have been forced into this century by grandchildren who can hack into NATO and find the best price in the world for anything in seconds.. Its scary but to see their little faces when they have massacred a shed load of opponents on Fortnite makes it all worthwhile.. I used to get socks or smelly stuff, now I get a gadget. Either get connected or post back and I can provide a load of small kids to cut your lawn or clear the garage, honestly they are not doing anything more important.. By the way, multi tasking for kids today is actually acknowledging you whilst looking at a screen..no more than a nod or a grunt..

Would struggle to hear it above the mower, and can’t do with earphones if I’m doing something other than walking. The wire gets in the way, and i’m Not splashing out on wireless ones. The aux cable/lead in the car is hit and miss. Need a new one. Could have tidied the garage, whilst listening, granted, but was so engrossed, I happily sat listening to it on the Bose dock in the Kitchen. Kettle and biscuits within reach. Would the kids be up before Lunchtime? My teen girls haven’t seen much morning since school finished! I agree about the grunting.

No one knows what you're saying that's the point .. why don't you just enjoy the bloody thing instead of feeling the need to dissect everything?

No one knows what you're saying that's the point .. why don't you just enjoy the bloody thing instead of feeling the need to dissect everything? I did...no dissection going on.. maybe you are just 'hard of understanding' when you want to be? Dean tells it well and its interesting.. I have no idea wether its 100% the truth and in its entirety and I do like to hear the other side, because there more than often in the real world in which I live, maybe not you, is... Keep your one eye to the sky, the truth is out there..

It was a great listen and like someone said, great to hear him sounding well again.
Bit of constructive feedback to whoever it is that does it. There were a few occasions where one of the blokes interrupted Dean, just as he was about to elaborate on a point. One of which was about Billing and I think he was about to point out that the deal is £15 mil + a lot of add ons rather than £15 mil including add ons. He was interrupted and no one really picked up on what Dean was about to delve into. Try to let the guests finish their point before questioning!
Like I said, very good listen though and looking forward to their upcoming podcasts...
