We can all see what is happening and that is Nothing. He can't motivate the players at all, they are all over the place. They just aren't working for him.

There is nothing to be positive about whatsoever.

His record here speaks volumes. You mean Hughton who kept Brighton up and was sacked when still keeping them up. Adapting and playing shit football and keeping them up, he still kept them up. |

Wagner didn’t have expensive players but the team was more than a sum of its parts. Siewert doesn’t seem to have a team at the moment. There is no shape, style of play or idea about how to win games. The fact we are hitting long balls out of defence to Pritchard, Grant and Diakhaby shows that the players are lost. |

Be a long wait before this manager takes the walk,because i think our new chairman thinks the sun shines out of his arse.Nothing against jan but,he doesnt seem capable of decent decision making and he isnt ready to be coaching in the championship by a long way,pritchard is not a winger he played in midfield at Norwich and thats why we paid a lot of money for him so ffs put him where he can be effective and in turn supply the balls for Grant to do what he does best.

Whatever people might think of jan, imagine being a manager coming into a PL club who (behind closed doors) was likely told not to worry about this season but to focus on next season. that the club is financially very stable, has a squad able to compete very well in the championship, and that money from sales will be reinvested in a "1 in 1 out" policy. "a huge summer ahead", suggesting he can shape his squad.........
then imagine having your best players sold and being given a handful of players Lee clark might not have fancied in league 1 as replacements, not even on a 1 in 1 out basis
Jan might never make a good manager but for me he was done by the board before the season even started.

Just make sure the clueless fools who appointed him in the first place arent involved in the decision making process. My guess is it will be a knee jerk reaction and we’ll go for an old head. It was blatantly obvious from day one it was a ridiculous appointment, staggering it ever got made, especially when you look at the division we were in and the situation. Probably comes from trying to be too clever with succession planning, looking too hard for the diamond in the rough when there were a hundred better options right in front of their nose. At least jan will be able to walk away and blame said situation for his failure and no doubt he’ll be very well compensated. |

2 + 2 = worse than 2016/17!Think thats going to turn out to be spot on. The early signs certainly back it up. Grants better than Wells up top IMO and early days but Grabara looks a better keeper than Ward. But them aside we don;t look as good anywhere else on the pitch .. we just pay them a hell of a lot more. Id also suggest team spirit, something that played a MASSIVE part in our promotion year, is nothing like it was either. |

It's clear the guy has ideas on how to play the game, but it's just not worked out for him at all. It would be interesting to see how this bunch of players would perform under a manager who knew his shit.

For every David Wagner and Daniel Farke there is also an Eddie Howe, Chris Wilder or Dean Smith.
There is no proven way of getting it right but one thing that’s for sure is JS has shown no better so far this season than he did last.
It’s 2 games but there was no “identity” and no clue.
Dean Hoyle said for the DW appointment he wanted to get off the usual “Merry Go Round” - I think it’s time we got back on it because this “ride” isn’t working. I would love it to work for JS, I want him to succeed but just don’t see it happening.
Even with the loss of players we still have our best squad (on paper) of recent times at this level. Surely somebody else could get a consistent tune out of them.
We were told the unity in Austria was back, a great spirit of a group who want to play for the manager. It really hasn’t looked that way!
