Even Uncle Ken didn't get that...and he was a far bigger twatty lying bastard What did the guy that saved the club and is hated by most for doing so lie about? Saying hed saved the club because there was no one else who would, when there was. Saying he wouldn;t asset strip the club , then asset stripping the club. Saying hed asset stripped the club to 'protect it' when it was so he could make money by selling said assets.

Congratulations on the correct spelling after years of doing a double "t". Now all you have to learn is to type an apostrophe (') instead of a semi-colon ";" and to stick an apostrophe before the "d" in "he'd".

Sky Sports News understands that former Derby, Birmingham and Stoke manager Gary Rowett, the current QPR assistant manager John Eustace are being considered for the role.
Former Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest manager Aitor Karanka is also eager to talk to Huddersfield about their current vacancy.
Huddersfield's new chairman Phil Hodgkinson will make the ultimate decision, with new head of football operations David Webb, and CEO Julian Winter also sitting on the selection panel.
It is possible the Terriers will opt for a young and ambitious British manager or will continue with their policy of appointing an up-and-coming European coach, to work under Webb.
Sky Sports News has been told that Dan Petrescu has also impressed in his time in charge of the Romanian league champions Cluj, who knocked Celtic out of the Champions League last week.
The club have yet to draw up a shortlist, and it is thought Huddersfield may delay making an appointment until the international break in a fortnight's time.
Siewert was sacked after just seven months at Huddersfield, and the club is determined that the next man in charge should be a long-term successor.

Dan Petrescu's an interesting thought. Knows English football and Yorkshire well, probably didn't play enough games at Bradford to be tainted..
Doesn't seem to stay anywhere very long though.

I like Gary Rowett, especially after he gave that pillock Tim Sherwood some shit live on TV, but his ideas as a manager seems quite basic.
If we're taking a safe bet, I'd probably rank Karanka with Hughton.

Then he asked to be released from his contract at Forest. Anybody know what these were all about?

There was a guy "so called Town fan" in my local earlier slagging off Dean Hoyle he was lucky he did not get chinned. How can anyone slag DH off after all that the man has done over the last 10 years, these part time so called supporters should wont be there if we get relegated this year or when ever. had it plenty of times in my local. Usually just laugh rather than engage.. its always the folk who never go just read the examiner/talk to people in the pub

Please keep Julian Winter away from any appointments. He should be next in line for the bullet. In fact, firing winter would probably go along way to getting full acceptance of Hodgkinson as the chairman and bringing him in line with the fans chairman and getting the fans behind him. Total clearout, and a reset.

Perhaps Winter isn't as bad as some believe given he lasted so long under Hoyle and now PH is happy to keep him on

The club have yet to draw up a shortlist, and it is thought Town may delay making an appointment until the international break in a fortnight's time.
This will enable Hudson three games to impress, and also time to give the role full consideration.
This means that nothing was put in place before they sacked Siewart and if fans had not acted as they did after the Lincoln game his job may have been safe. They are using the time to see how Hudson does and if does okay he is the necessary cheap option for the job. Either way they get a few games for free as he is contracted to the club anyway. If the rot continues then they will be forced to appoint the next cheapest option. Here are the names of those who will not need any compensation paid to release them and can start immediately:
Karanka Hughton Rowett Campbell
So, if Town run close to form of late the new manager will be any of those ... the big question the new manager will have to answer on interview is: can you stabilise the club without any cash from us? If yes then the job is yours. I expect then to see either Campbell, Hudson or Rowett appointed.

Totally unfair considering Dean Hoyle was involved. DH has basically gone also. Probably gives some basic advice but that's about it. 4 games in and it seems a perfect opportunity for Phil to make the club his and hit the reset button. We seem to have smoothly transitioned from shit to shit over the summer. New team, new belief, anyone that can be changed should be changed.

Taking our time to ensure we get the right man in place is nothing fresh. If we always go for cheap options how come we Sacked Winkler and appointed Bell? Do you reckon that was a 'cheap' option?

Needs to make a statement. Not immediately and not the one that says we won’t sleepwalk towards relegation BUT the kind that shows they aren’t going for the easy option manager wise.

Julian Winter has been involved in all the shite decisions - players - recruitment team and tracking Jan for 3 years and not realising he was not up to the job! What the heck does he do because all I have seen so far is him making a complete mess of everything!
