Winter comes across terrible. It was left to him to tell all the parents of the kids in the academy it was closing. He almost caused a riot.

This is turning into an absolute frigging nightmare for Phil. Everything is going to shit. Everything! How can we get rid of this dark cloud over our club?

Probably needs to bullet winter and possibly Josh marsh.... then make the new guy the director of football and let him try and put a team together to achieve something.. Phil probably knows less about football than 70% of this forum. He needs to be there just to sort the brass out.

How would you have done it? Dean should have done it; it was his decision Dean made lots of decisions and employed people to carry them out, just like most businesses. Julian Winter as the Chief Executive Officer, not a poorly paid underling was naturally given the job.

No symphony for Phil if I'm honest.
Talked a good game at the Q & A but in reality it was all piss and bluster.
Utterly clueless.

There was no acknowledgment about how upset these kids were goin to be just facts. He told it as if it was good news for the club, at that moment them parents didn’t give a shit about Huddersfield Town they were upset for their kids.

This next appointment is massive at an early stage for him, he's not exactly helped himself so far.
The worrying thing for me is folk (PH included) seemed to think that we had a good squad... the minute the transfer window shut I thought we would struggle whoever the manager
the arrogance of thinking spending under 1m pounds on a squad that needed a serious shake up worries the hell out of me. Needs a very good appointment and to put his hand in his pocket in January

If your coming in as chairman today. Then your bulletting winter and and marsh. Your putting huddy back with the u23s. Making the new man a director of football and working hard with him to put a team together from top to bottom to revolutionise the club.
I'm not sure Phil has the business sense or intelligence to formulate a plan to dig us out of this hole..... he needs to take a step back and with whoever the stakeholders who he trusts are formulate a genuine way forward. We seem too reactive rather than proactive.
He could do worse than approaching a couple of posters on here to help him along the way.

He doesn't seem to have many strings to his bow. He plays second fiddle to Dean but always blows his own trumpet. He needs to drum up some support or he can just go and whistle. He is not a cymbal of our club and I ain't waiting around for the encore.

I've been very critical of PH, but for a sock wanking fantisist like you to suggest someone doesnt have business sense or intellegence is just too far. Im out I back Phil all the way

It would be nice to see one bit of evidence that Phil is prepared to invest in the team. Can't think of much to suggest that atm!

Phil can’t run a championship football club whilst putting his other business activities first, which has happened the last few weeks, especially in this hugely important transition period.

Hearing from somebody who wouldn’t directly know anyone involved that the sale effectively valued the club at £7.125m.
Is this doing the rounds?
