Typical odds: Mark Hudson 2/1 Chris Hughton 5/1 Sol Campbell 6/1 Nigel Adkins 9/1 Gary Rowett 14/1 Chris Coleman 20/1 Daniel Stendel 20/1 The only one from that list that interests me is Chris Hughton, the rest are the usual merry go round names that appear, apart from Stendal but he has to prove himself at Barnsley at this level.

Sol Cambell FFS, i would rather have Bill Oddie in charge. With Tim Brooke Taylor as his number 2?

The way things seem to be going in terms of cost cutting it wouldn't surprise me if they told Hudson he could have a go until Xmas and if it didn't work out look for someone else then before the Jan window opens.

We have a budget multiples bigger than any other we've had in the championship mate.. don't let datm spin get in the way of the facts

Do we aspire to go back up? Any manager of note is going to want to see if the club can and will match their own ambition. Only time will tell I suppose.

Well I don't think PH is asset stripping the club. So yes I'm sure he will have a plan and he will have ambition. Time will tell as you say but fans posting stupidity on social message sites and screaming abuse at him from the stands is bang out of order. He's only been in post about 6 weeks

This is the first backward step/relegation the club has taken since 2002-03. Not condoning there actions but maybe a lot of the younger fans who have never experienced relegation don't know how to handle the situation and expect us to be successful all the time?

I said on a previous post before the sacking. The money we got in transfer fees and what we spent out, we have plenty in the tank. PH could gain a lot of friends by giving Hughton the money he needs, £2m for the year, rolling contract. Like a signing and that’s his wages. No fee, line his pockets, hear his plan for us going forward and this place will change. That would be a coup. If he was to splash the cash, he could even go get Jokanovic and give hiknsome dollar. Least we know our football will be great to watch. There’d be no compensation/fee to pay to another club either. Would like to think we’ve at least sounded him out.

Not sure Stendel would leave Barnsley for us at this moment in time. I think it will Adkins to be honest. Knows Mr Webb and is out of work and probably lives locally.

There was once a manager who instilled a great identity and philosophy, before #nolimits a simple philosophy which needs to return
"BE PROUD AND HONOURED TO WEAR THE SHIRT"
I don't think said manager would return, and maybe his time is long past but can't help but think we could do a lot worse

His time ran out a long time ago because he chose to walk instead of stay and fight? His excuse's passed onto the next manager who took the blame from many fans, which was the idea unfortunately. Dave had more luck here in a couple of years than a Leprechaun with a rabbit's foot wrapped in 4 leaf clovers. It ran out and so did he. I thank him for bringing his good fortune here and for getting more than most at that time could get from what we had but his leaving spoilt it.
