I’m not building my hopes up till it’s announced. History suggests that’s the best thing to do...

Can see many a season ticket been chucked in if Harris is appointed.

Surely if it was Harris there’s no reason why it wouldn’t be announced, I’m hoping we’re respectful of the Cowleys wishes and letting them manage Lincoln today then an announcement will be made!

My feeling/hope is that Harris is our back up plan if the top target does ‘a Parkinson’ and that’s why he’s lingering around the top end of the bookies odds.
Harris is clearly free/available to move. He’s got experience in this league and as much as he isn’t going get much excitement from us he’s at least managing in this league right now. Personally would be very disappointed if it was him but would get behind him

Why would they keep a manager in charge who is leaving?

So I’ve been critical of PH so far, justifiably imo, but IF the Cowley’s came in it would be a step towards restoring some faith in him. The next step would be allowing them to rip the squad up and restart in the next window.

Why would they keep a manager in charge who is leaving? Maybe out of loyalty (if it is Cowley) he didn't want to disrupt Lincoln's plans for today's game by announcing he's leaving (which hopefully he is).

Maybe hanging my neck out on this one a little bit sooner than i’d Like to but I now understand that the club have managed to finally get Danny Cowley in and his arrival could be as soon as Monday.

Imps fan in peace. For anyone saying they couldn’t managed ‘big personalities’ this is a good watch. Would love for them to stay at Lincoln but wouldn’t have a bad word to say about them if they decided to leave. Up the Imps. Up the Terriers. Decent fan posting decent post at a time when you might be losing a really good guy. Respect - would swap one of you for a boatload of self-entitled screamers on here. Hope things go well for you whether the impressive Cowley stays with you or ends up here.

Awesome. Cameo, thank you. That's as good as an official announcement coming from you.
Should stop the moaning.
The Cowley's were the best possible appointment to reunite the club and show some much needed ambition.

Just got to my seat and Danny Cowley was being interviewed on the edge of the pitch. He’s just gone out to personally supervise warmups along with his brother. Very vocal and hands on. Looks like they can be tough taskmasters.

Looks like they can be tough taskmasters. I watched them closely v us Very involved in warm ups On his feet in the dugout - thoughtful / regular discussion with each other but involved in the game without shouting all game Staff clearly well drilled - as soon as Mounie was coming on one of the staff was up, checking the sub, going to his notes and had instructions to one of the brothers in seconds Nightmare for 4th official - which I like

A bit stalky I guess but I deliberately chose a seat in the smaller main stand towards the Lincoln fans and close to the player’s tunnel, so I’ve got the perfect view! He’s still out there watching the warmups. I saw Lincoln late on last season at Crawley and their free kicks and corners were very innovative, They played some good stuff but were never afraid to play the referee if it suited them. I was on the opposite side of the pitch then but I remember one of the brothers getting into an argument with the Crawley bench.

Was at the players entrance for the Lincoln cup game when the Lincoln team arrived, DC spent plenty of time talking to fans signing autographs and having photos taken with fans, seems a really nice guy.

UTT Very bold appointment from Town Full credit to PH for landing one of the hottest managerial talents around - if it goes tits up from here for me there won’t be any grumbles on the choice of manager

Looks like Jamie McCombe is a coach for Lincoln. Out there right in front of me working with the back four.

Just a shame it may well be Monday before official news out (most likely anyway). That is a very long time in DATM years 😉
