Its early, but time to move on. Reading have improved in their last two games and would have been considered relegation rivals before a summer spending spree.
We have to look at the deficiencies in the squad and adapt. I.e we have no lb. We have to embrace that and move on. We cant do anything until january, unless we can pick up someone on a free.

Grant Campbell/Mounie.
I'd like abit more creativity in midfield, maybe obrien for Hogg or possibly Brown for Hogg but not really seen enough of him to see if hes even half upto it. Still short on the left with a wing back, but bockhorn is supposedly better attacking than defending so hopefully having Kongolo behind him can set him free.
Think we might pick up a point... not sure where a win is coming from.

Its early, but time to move on. Reading have won their last two games and would have been considered relegation rivals before a summer spending spree. We have to look at the deficiencies in the squad and adapt. I.e we have no lb. We have to embrace that and move on. We cant do anything until january, unless we can pick up someone on a free. Grabba Schinds Stankovich Kongolo Hadj Hogg Bacuna Chabs Bockhorn Grant Campbell/Mounie. I'd like abit more creativity in midfield, maybe obrien for Hogg or possibly Brown for Hogg but not really seen enough of him to see if hes even half upto it. Still short on the left with a wing back, but bockhorn is supposedly better attacking than defending so hopefully having Kongolo behind him can set him free. Think we might pick up a point... not sure where a win is coming from. Reading drew last night |

God are we in a mess already. What has happened to our club? These players are a disgrace to football and us fans at the minute and I don’t care what anybody says these players couldn’t care less. Ooo we’ve just been battered by Cardiff and haven’t won a game all season but that’s okay let’s go on Instagram and post a load of drivel about how we’ll keep fighting and results will come. 🤣 until every player starts to put in 110% we’ll continue to struggle. There’s a large number of players at current I wouldn’t be bothered if they never played for us again. Hudson said it’s a clean slate for everybody so get back to basics 4-4-2 get mounie upfront with grant and play hoof ball cos all this tippy tappy is working wonders (not). As bad as we’ve been over 18 months all the goals we concede are from our own downfall.
I honestly staying in the premier league is the reason we are in this mess. The players started to believe there own hype and a couple of poor transfers windows is coming back to bite us badly. What a shocking squad we’ve ended up with😂
Anyway onwards and upwards is all I can say I beg we beat reading but it’ll Ben another struggle. As bad as things get 3 wins on the spin and you’re back in the mix. UTT

And what’s happened to Reece brown the main spark in pre season? Also Matty Daley? Great pre season and Hodgkinson said he’d been great so he continues to not make the squad. My team for this game. Elphick needs to be dropped IMO.
Hogg has had a mare but need experience in the centre over Bacuna.
Chab looks strong going forward, maybe place him in a deeper 10 role see how he gets on?! Either that or swap him for Hogg, move Pritch to the centre and bring in VLP.
We have to stop dicking about defensively and press from the front when possible. Remember when we used to hunt the ball in packs?
For me a lot of our wins in promotion season and first in the prem came from winning the ball high up the pitch after successfully putting pressure on the ball and quickly releasing it from there, where has that gone?
Our shape has been woeful since preseason and, apart from handing possession on a plate to the opposition, seems to be one of the reasons we look so poor defensively.
Every single player looks lethargic and slow currently. It was most evident last night. Can't believe how many balls we should have been getting to was won by a Cardiff player. Couldn't believe it. Some put it down to not enough effort but it looks like fitness problems to me. Bleep test and fitness training all week please Huddy.
Back to basics. Clear the ball if under pressure, we can't pass atm so release the ball down the wing to VLP or Diakhaby to buy us time to move up the pitch and PLAY SIMPLE PASSES FOR FUCK SAKE.
That's what I'd do anyway. Please. Please no more dross, it's so fucking painful to watch at the moment.

Need to go two up top, especially at home. I'll feel a lot more comfortable with Mbenza and Elphick not in the team. Especially the former, he can seriously fuck off. He's up there with David Edgar as one of our worst signings ever made.
Mounie seems to be off by the sounds of it so there's no point in including him.

Which in this league, means we will probably win. |

We have to get Kongolo back alongside Schindler. The midfield needs bolstering. Grant needs support not isolation.

We could keep losing and Elphick wont get dropped,does he deserve to be dropped? Yes 100% and he is not on his own.
As pointed out by another post on here is it not time now to filter in some of the younger signings we made plus the likes of matty daly?Because some of the so called big bollocks experienced players that have been given chance after chance have let themselves and the club down,so fuck em off and give someone else a chance ffs.😡
