Great to see.
Back to the compressed high-man press, CBs on the 1/2way line and Hogg being a great DCM.
Only half time but nice to see the return of the original Wagner way
We still need to score, I accept that.

Can’t have a English caretaker manager blagging his way through a German style of play. Anyone who was under the Wagner / siewert regime must go. A whole new identity with a new style of play is needed. We are utter dog shit and on our way to league one. The happy clappers won’t agree but let’s be real. |

Right now I feel like stringing Jan Siewert up a lamp post for overseeing a pre-season which led to our players being so unfit they can only play for 65mins. One thing under David Wagner was the team were always superfit and could match anyone on the physical side. It was the mental side of constant losing that did for Wagner. For me, the Cowley brothers. |

I’m a happy clapper and it was great to see the return of gegenpressing today. I wouldn’t say that MH was blagging his way through but in many ways we are back to square one - loads of possession but with very little goal threat and done by the sucker pinch. In the circumstances, it’s too much I’d a gamble to give him the role full time but I’m prepared to believe that PH and the board know that anyway. |

It beggars belief that people still think this formation and tactics work.
Changed the manager twice,
Brought in new players,
Yet we have the same problem.
Even under Wagner we didn’t score many goals, but with his personality and relationship with his payers managed against all odds to get us promoted.
Then managed to keep us up, but lets face it, if the season had 3 more games we would have been down.
This formation and tactics will only work with the very best of players. With average players like ours it does not work.
Hopefully the new manager will change this.
Just my opinion.

Hudson said on radio Leeds the double training sessions have returned,when did they stop! If I was chairman I would be furious they were one of the reasons we improved under Wagner.

The club just needs a fresh start and a new approach, no more fucking about with 'experiments' . This season has now been written off after 5 games. We simply have to stay in this league. It's a big ask but relegation will be devastating. |

Yes I had noticed. 4231 is a variation on 433 Especially how we have been playing it. Both play with one striker. So, same style of play with very little end product. Players that have left us have started scoring again. Just a coincidence? I think not. I think the question should be, Do you actually watch the games? |
