Not sure if anyone else feels the same but I’m so tired of losing that I am starting to detach emotionally. What I mean by this is I’m stopping caring as much what happens to us. This is what the club needs to be concerned about, it’s not the value of X,Y,Z it’s the enjoyment and engagement the fans take from attending matches. Really concerned we’re close to being in a position that no one will be able to turn round without a massive reset. I’m more than happy to accept the position we’re in the reasons for it etc... but the club needs to also accept that there has been some massive mismanagement and the fans are close to deserting in droves. 4 wins in 54 is more than most can cope with, I love the club but these are dire times.

Crowds are plummeting there clearly wasn't 21k there today. Although the club have got the money so I guess that's not going to kill us financially. The fans were great today, really got behind the team.

I get what you're saying, and why you're saying it, but it's less than 20 years ago since we nearly didn't have a club at all any more. We've had a lot of highs in the past 7 or 8 years and unfortunately the pendulum has swung the other way now.
There are issues and there are questions that need to be answered, but it's still YOUR club, and as hard as it is right now, your club still really needs you.
Que sera sera - keep the faith.

If things don't turn around soon then you are right that the fans will disappear again and the only ones to blame for this are the board

I didn’t feel anything when the goals went in. I just had the feeling of “here we go again”. It’s like I’ve forgotten what it feels like to win and score goals.

I've been there for some time, Rich. And it's not just Town themselves, but football in general. Someone posted recently about the death of the professional game, highlighting VAR, the financial gulf between the elite and clubs like ours, the constant simulation to win free-kicks on the halfway line. All of it has led me to not have as much passion for the game as I used to have 10-15 years ago. I'm 40 years old, and I love being a Town fan, but when I was younger results like today's (or any defeat you care to mention) would have ruined my whole weekend. But now, it doesn't have the same effect. I'm all about acceptance. Then I often think of the time I spend watching Town, I could be doing other things I enjoy. Playing a round of golf, or going for a ride. We're expecting our first child anytime soon (today was the due date, but alas, no arrival) so going forward my weekends will be all about spending time with my family. She will be still be brought up as a Town fan, but with runs like we've had over the past season and a half, subjecting her to this is tantamount to child cruelty.
Finally, for me, being in the PL was both the best thing in the world as a Town fan, and the worst experience I have ever had watching my team. And I include spells under Wadsworth and Powell (although less so, there). Even going down to League Two was bearable, as we were competitive. If I'd known where we are now would be the fall-out from our time in the PL, I'd happily have stayed in the Championship. Some will ridicule that comment, but I'm that apathetic with the whole situation, I don't really care anymore.

It's the reaction to goals against for me.
I'm no long angry, sad or annoyed - I now find it a bit funny.
Not a good place to be in.

I love abroad and could watch every game but it got so boringly predictable I stopped bothering. Was an amazing sight to see us get there, one which I never thought I would see. But I could not give a shit it we go back up. I just want us to be competitive in the division we are in and hope it is still the Championship next season.

Yep, on Wednesday when Cardiff got the second, I was almost content, because football was the winner. They deserved it thoroughly. I never used to think like that, I'd have been pissed off and hated Cardiff for weeks. My instant reaction was we deserve it, for the shambles that the club has created.

There's not much we can do other than sit and suffer. The manager is going to change, we can't change the players until January and we are very unlikely to see a new owner. We can comment, get frustrated or angry but it's down to those there now to turn it round.

I currently have a 125 mile (soon to be 220) round trip to attend home games and before today I was starting to question whether or not I can be bothered, with cost of petrol, the travel time and then going home fed up with another wasted Saturday. But the first half today has me feeling much more positive, the atmosphere was back, we played like a team (first half anyway) and I went home with a hoarse voice....I didn't mind losing today because I could see a change on the pitch and in the stands. We are a long way off but we are finally taking steps in the right direction!

Yeah weve seen the south stand videos No bite tonight moon head I couldnt go today .. blessed relief . As you know i believe that the crowd should be up for 90 minutes support whatever the circumstsnces (then boo em off by all means ) BUT when i hear the interim manager say that the clubs players cant compete for over 65 minutes , bearing in mind we have the 5th or 6th highest budget, i AM ABSOLUTELY LIVID . Fuck em . Bomb em all out and play the kids till theyve manned up ... a fucking disgraxe from top to bottom . And anyone on the training side. Who has participated in this shambles , either unknowingly (they should know ) or by not whistleblowing .. p45s all round

I couldn't agree more. Not been today - not missed it as been playing cricket and I wont be coming back until the season ends. Am not planning on any away trips either - not because we are crap and keep losing (lord knows when you've seen hicks, tucker, Lewis, lampkin etc this is positively upbeat talentwise!), but because the whole experience is mind blowing fucking dull. Players who keep talking the talk but when it gets tough are found wanting again. I will still come as I have a season ticket, but right now I have zero enthusiasm to attend games to watch the same drivel served up by the players.....seiwert and hudson may or may not be poor, but 5 wins in 58 signals to me it's the players who need changing more than ever. Mentally weak and full of tired cliches every time we lose......time for a clear out imo.
