If it is Moyes then Phil deserves some credit because that's a bit of a coup for town Can’t see ex Everton and Man Utd manager at little old Huddersfield!!! If it is moyes at least he will be bringing an experienced left back with him.

Whoever takes the job will need bollocks of steel because we are the epitome of failure. It is not so much a challenge as an impossible task.
Good luck whoever you are!

If it is moyes at least he will be bringing an experienced left back with him. So would fkkn Jack Charlton, but we ain't gonna appoint him. Cowleys every day of week and twice on sundays. Their history is progression, progression, progression. That's exactly what they'll do, right to the top. Fuck Moyes, theres a reason why his tenures are short lived. Do the right thing boys, appoint a qualified p.e teacher.

Heard today it was Moyes. Had a meeting on Thursday. From a reliable source or someone who’d read summat on Twitter.

I hope that it is Moyes or someone like him - the Cowley brothers have done really well and can be rightly proud of their achievements to date but my concern is that they come across as nice lads and I’m not sure that our squad needs ‘nice’ at the moment and I don’t mean the arrogance of Jan - but someone who deserves respect from the word go. It will also be interesting to see how the Cowley lads cope when things aren’t going quite so well. That said if it’s them I will keep my fingers crossed and hope it works out for them as we would all hope.

Not a chance phil would pay Moyes wages. Even if we have transferred rvlp to pay for a manager.
It will be someone shit or unknown or shit and unknown like julian winter.

It'll be Hudson after tonight, who in their right mind would take us on? We are a mess from top to bottom, just sold VLP and we don't exactly have the depth to take that kind of hit to our squad. Mounie, Schindler and Kongolo will all be gone by the end of tomorrow. Phil's statement has pretty much given other players the chance to leave now. All they have to say is "I don't want to play for you or the club" This chairman is an absolute idiot, stuff like this needs to be kept in-house and you have to be diplomatic with this kind of stuff. "Thanks for your efforts and service and good luck at your new club" We are going to be in league two before we know it getting spanked by the likes of Salford and Grimsby Town!!!!

Where did the moyes rumour come from? Absolute zero chance of that one happening. Adkins, Rowett, Parkinson more realistic with Swiss in charge. I assume we can afford cowley but god knows why he would come here st the minute

I assume we can afford cowley but god knows why he would come here st the minute Well, if talks are at an advanced stage, then it's safe to assume that the targeted new man will have sanctioned the move of VLP to Red Star Belgrade, and will feel confident of using someone in the squad in the left-wing position. And will also know that we don't really have a proven left-back either in this league (and if we move Kongolo there, it weakens us in central defence) - so the man we have lined up will also know that our left side could be problematic at least until the January transfer window. Think Rastrick mentioned it beforehand, here's wishing him much luck - and may Dea Latis help us if we get any injuries between now and January! Seems to me we're walking on thin ice atm.

I'd say that it makes it far less likely to be Cowley with VLP leaving. I'm assuming we will have run the decision by the new manager (if an appointment is close) and VLP played like Rivaldo when he came on against Lincoln. I'm pretty sure they would have wanted to keep him

Looks like it might have to be someone who knows how to win games and maybe win them ugly. Hudson has been shown to be as poor as the fella from Dortmund so massive change is needed. Whatever, this shit show needs to end and it needs to end right now.

I suspect the Cowley's are not in the running, there has been no noise on it, no disgruntled Lincoln fans coming on here, no nothing, so I suspect no contact has been made with Lincoln. Even if we did make contact what on earth would possess them to come? The two clubs could swap places next season. They are on the verge of getting the freedom of the City of Lincoln and guiding a provincial obscure club to the Champonship from the conference.

I don't care who anymore. Just needs to be ready to start at 9am on Monday.
If it drags on into middle of next week then I give up completely.

My brother is good mates with Dave Bridges who is head of coaching there and he denied any link a few weeks ago.. Unless something has changed recently i can't see it happening. Plus we would have to pay compensation which doesn't look likely under ph stewardship!!

You would suspect they would look at what’s going on at the moment at this club and politely say “no thanks.” They seem to be clever lads.

Other than a big salary increase why would Cowley come? He's far better staying where he is for his own career. Look at Nathan Jones at Stoke....
