Yes,i'd take it in the spirit it was meant, it would just be banter in a particular argument debate.

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61149365I can see both sides here; UEFA have given them a brilliant ground to play at albeit a small capacity. It’s such a shame the JSS isn’t staging a game or two, I’d have gone down and taken the kids.

There's a group game and a semi-final at Bramall Lane - not too far to travel (although I think they might both be evening games so may be too late for the kids?)

Great success with the htafc women's team this past 2 seasons, had some really good success stories. Unfortunately that may be it for awhile for them now unless they are backed financially. The team has gone as far as it can now and the only way they can move forward is by having the financial means to succeed. At this moment in time it isn't possible. The players will slowly get cherry picked along with staff members this summer. It's a shame for them.

In the current climate it would be a really nice piece of PR to align the club with the ladies team officially and bring them under the same umbrella so to speak. Pennies it’ll cost to back them compared to the amounts we have wasted in recent years. Yes I know Covid has affected the club but surely we are in a position to better support them?
It was mentioned before, but maybe a DATM sponsoring of a player next time would be a nice gesture?

22,000 fans were at St James' Park for a Newcastle Women's match yesterday.
The largest crowd for a women's league match in England this season.
Newcastle are in the 4th tier.

Didn't Hoyle sever all ties with them before over something petty 🤔 Did he ? What was that ? Was in August 2014, there was a fallout and Huddersfield Town Ladies (as they were known then) were told that they were no longer allowed to use the club kit or name from May 2015 - the clubs had a ‘loose association’ and Town had allowed the Ladies to use the club name and logo since 2010, provided kit at discount prices and free tickets to games.. Following the fallout the Ladies team took legal advice as they had to buy new kit for 80+ women and girls at a cost of £10,000 - money they didn’t have.. Thankfully things look to have been resolved a good bit and the Huddersfield Town Women looked resplendent in their training gear walk out attire and the smartest footy kit in England (The Huddy Town Home one) for the 0-0 match I very much enjoyed v Burnley Women At Stroth Hall on Thursday 14th April !

Oh not for me to say petty Ted as not involved, and money is always a complex issue in all walks of life - just remember reading it in The Examiner (online) at the time - Like I say certainly looks to be somewhat resolved now thankfully - kit wise anyway !

22,000 fans were at St James' Park for a Newcastle Women's match yesterday. The largest crowd for a women's league match in England this season. Newcastle are in the 4th tier. Newcastle were supposed to be playing Barnsley but the Sheffield and Hallam FA wouldn't let them rearrange the county Cup final against Town. So tier 4 Barnsley players missed out on the experience of a lifetime because of some petty jobsworth.
