Probably some clause in the loan agreement that we pay his full salary while he's injured. What a complete write off of a season he's had this time.

Does he come back to us or stay with Fulham whilst injured.

These loans are not going to plan. The problems we had are still going to be there in the summer, just worth even less money.

Get him back and play him on the right wing. With a leg missing and the coronavirus he'd still be a better option than Kachunga.

well at least if fulham were really thinking of buying him, he can't muck up his prospects now he's not going to play again this season..He played well in his first full game so hopefully that will encourage fulham to cough up the required spondoolies...

I understand he'll stay with Fulham Hope so as presumably that means hes still on loan to them even if hes crocked. Just hope he did enough in his month there to persuade them to want him permanently.

I would imagine the club will have some sort of insurance that pays out for absences longer than ‘x’ months for players earning the sort of coin he does

Our Montpellier scam coming into play ?
Loan with option to buy.
Terrys wages will and eventual fee ( no doubt + rehab costs ) will just be added to the costs for their new stand, Therefore not being included in the FFP statement Fulham disclose ?
Just a guess, But a good one.

Just hope he did enough in his month there to persuade them to want him permanently. Was the same case with Tareiq Holmes-Dennis who injured himself after just 39 minutes of the very first game of the season on loan at Portsmouth. He stayed with them and they had to pay his wages, because those were the terms of the deal. He recovered and joined Bristol Rovers the following season.

Fulham might only be paying a percentage of his wages anyway I suppose?

Why is there so much glee at this news?
It's terrible news.
Burdened with his wages for longer than the summer now.

Why is there so much glee at this news? It's terrible news. Burdened with his wages for longer than the summer now. Exactly, its terrible news for Town. We needed him to go there and be impressive whilst on loan. Then either Fulham or someone else whos been impressed take him and his wages off our hands in the summer. They might be having to fork out a loan fee for him for a few months yet but because of this theres a far higher chance he'll be back here sucking a fortune out of our club for a lot longer after that now. Theres no karma with this at all as for as town are concerned.
