According to BBC Sport...." Glen Kamara was booed by home fans as 10-man Rangers were left bottom of group A with defeat away to Sparta Prague in the Europa League. The Finn, who was racially abused six months ago by Ondrej Kudela of Sparta's rivals Slavia Prague, was singled out during the tie prior to his second yellow card on 74 minutes. Sparta already led 1-0 at that point after David Hancko's first-half header, but Rangers struggled to impose themselves in their second group loss in a row. Racism was a depressing backdrop to this game. The match was played in front of 10,000 children after Uefa relented on a stadium closure following racist chanting by Sparta fans towards Monaco's Aurelien Tchouameni. Rangers manager Steven Gerrard said before the game he had "no apprehension" about the tie and had been assured "everything is going to be fine." Despite that, the Finn was still booed by the young crowd. " Very much a βhe says she saysβ Detox

Injury, or not performing ?

Were all the black/ mixed race Rangers players booed by the 10,000 local school children?
Or was it just Glen Kamara?
If it's the former, then we've a big problem.
If it's the latter, I don't think we have.

Absolutely... As an aside, I saw Bacuna started this game but was subbed in 1st half. Injury, or not performing ? Thigh injury I watched it Detox and as Porro says, thigh injury. He was though poor (disappointingly) though whilst he was on the pitch. He has though played well when coming on a as a sub.

Tonight on Scotland Today ( our kinda ITV news programme) in the sports section Steven Gerrard was bumping his gums for more cash to spend for Europe.. They went through the players they had acquired this summer, think only one was undisclosed from Aberdeen, the rest free...
They said Bacuna was on a βnon up front feeβ whatever that means !
Town in far better League, but he will get European Football up here and a lot of tribalism....

A bit random perhaps, but just found this... talkofthetown1908.com/what-to-expect-juninho-bacunaContains...βHe is still only 20 and raw so I wouldnβt expect him just to walk into the Huddersfield line up and it may take him some time to adaptβ wise, if not prophetic, words?

If Bacuna had put as much effort into his football as he did into his hair colour he would be a world beater - sadly he applied his skills to the disaster that is stuck on the top of his skull.
Now a forgotten man , playing in a crap league. Will end up playing in Turkey at some point, or the middle east. Final pay day football.
Had his chance blew it - close this thread and time to forget "the man who could have been "

I admit his form was erratic, when he was good he was good, but he didnt have enough of these days and often was barely noticeable, on the whole a bit of an enigma but i didnt mind him.

An in-form Bacuna would be an asset to any side in this division.
An out-of-form Bacuna would not be an asset to any side in this division.

One of the main reasons I was happy for him leaving was that I'd not have to read anymore shite about his feckin hair ππ₯± Is that really the root of the problem? Well, that's sort of my point. It's totally irrelevant, yet how many times did it get brought up. Usual nonsense, like whenever England get knocked out of a tournament and we hear "no passion" when it had bugger all to do with it.
