Think it would be a loan to be honest but regardless it fits the bill of loans been a major improvement on what we have.The done deal doesn’t say it’s a permanent although the striker comment does state it’s a loan so who knows. just presumed from Maynard comments 1 v good Signed 1 striker on loan. Which ever on face of it looks a good signing if true. |

Worth 4m on transfer markt. If correct about him signing hopefully shut a few up. Rather see some of the Academy lot play.... Zero point signing him if its just to help us survive the championship, Couple of permanent signings we would already have enough. |

If we had anyone in our academy at this lads' level then I'd agree with you, but we don't even have anyone in the first team squad at his level. You're just pissed cos you knew nothing about it and couldn't add to your 2.64% success rate. |

If it's true, it sounds like the right sort of player for Carlos' system.
Defensive mid used to playing in Ajax's & their academy's high energy, high press tactics. Sounds like he'd be our defensive playmaker just in front of the centre backs.
Obviously sounds like he'd have some catching up to do, coming off a bad injury, but if he works out it could be a massive upgrade. We'll see.

Carel Eiting is on his way to England, Football Insider reports Wednesday. The Ajax midfielder seems to be continuing his career on a rental basis at Huddersfield Town .
Huddersfield Town, which plays in the Championship, is in far-reaching negotiations with Ajax about a temporary transfer from Eiting , according to Football Insider . The Amsterdam club is open to a departure of the midfielder, which does not appear in the plans of trainer Erik ten Hag.
Earlier it became clear that Eiting prefers a foreign transfer instead of a domestic one. Several clubs from the Eredivisie were reportedly interested in him. So it seems to be the downgraded Huddersfield Town.
Eiting still has a contract with Ajax until the summer of 2022. Partly due to injuries, he was unable to make his mark in Ajax's first team. Eiting has been playing at Ajax since 2007

agree but as i have posted before they dont want to see it because its one thing less to knock the club with. im quite relaxed about the transfer window and we will see what may or not develop as for it being deppressing? for goodness sakeROYRACE man up its nothing compared to the problems some in society have to live with. DRAMA QUEENS UNITED SHOULD SIGN UP SOME ON HERE. 'kin hell positive you're like a broken record lad, in fact I sometimes wonder if you're some sort of bot running on Josh Marsh's laptop. You'd hope it goes without saying but when I say its depressing you have to understand the context, there are levels of depression clearly and I'm flippantly saying most things Town are depressing at the moment, especially if you're a passionate fan and not just an armchair observer. Obviously football pales into insignificance at the side of real problems; that goes without saying!!!! Hope you don't take everything people say so literally! As an aside if I was genuinely depressed telling me to man up probably wouldn't be the done thing Aren't we all armchair observers at the moment? |

Done a bit of digging into the Football Manager 2020 database and in terms of players with similar abilities to Carel Eiting, the one most people will have heard of is Ronaldo Viera, the young lad who went from Leeds to Sampdoria.
Whilst I'm sure many will question the validity of the stats within a computer game, those who know, know.

Why are they loaning him out? He had a knee injury and came back fit in January 2020,obviously the season ended not long after. He needs regular football and won't get it in the Ajax first team yet, so a season with us will do him good. Hopefully he's brilliant, we get promoted and buy him 😂 |

Looking at that clip a couple of things struck me, the lad has a lovely left foot & can pick a pass, secondly, that Ajax kit is my all time favourite kit, just pipping our stripes. |
