Reported on a Greek site did a google translation- Former Doxa coach Carlos Corberan wants to acquire Ognjen Vranjes in Huddersfield, according to what is being broadcast in Greece. Detailed what the website sdna.gr reports: Huddersfield have reportedly turned their antennas to Ognjen Vranjes, according to what was released a few days ago in England. It should be noted that Carlos Corberan, who recently passed through Cyprus and has a personal report on Bosnia, will be sitting on her bench in the new season. Vranješ has been the subject of many controversies during his career. In August 2010 he wore Delije shirt to celebrate his then club Sheriff Tiraspol eliminating Dinamo Zagreb in UEFA Champions League qualifier, which was construed as provocation.[30] In 2015, he made a tattoo depicting borders of Republika Srpska on his left upper arm, which led to public scrutiny. He later apologized and covered the tattoo up.[31] Because of the tattoo, he had many altercations with BHFanaticos, the largest Bosnian support group.[32] In September 2018, he was sentenced to eight months probation for instigating fan violence over his Facebook page during his time with AEK Athens.[33] Later that year it was spotted that Vranješ had a tattoo of Chetnik duke Momčilo Đujić on his upper right arm, which got him publicly criticized by Bosnian FA and the fans, with whom he already had bad relations.[34] In January 2019, he was once again in center of a scandal, as media reported that he had an affair with Serbian singer Jelena Karleuša, who is married to footballer Duško Tošić.[35] the Dujic fella he has the tattoo of collaborated with the nazis and italian fascists during the second world war. not gonna be happy at all if he signs

I see Luton have paid a fee today for two new players; Bree and Lockyer I know the club were expecting a lot of Championship sides to struggle financially however on the contrary the majority of the League have found the cash to pay transfer fees for players. Even if it's say £200k it's not what you'd expect when teams are meant to be on the verge of going into admin and worse www.transfermarkt.co.uk/championship/transfers/wettbewerb/GB2

This one makes exactly 50 players linked by various tumour sites with 2 confirmed. They usually average 10-12% of accurate guesses so 3 more I reckon!

We’ve got Flo, Kongolo, Sobhi, Mbenza, Diakhaby that we want off the wage bill - must be £100k+ every week. I imagine we’ll want a few of them gone before we start buying too many.

Outrageously good business from Town if we actually end up getting £16m for him

I agree but equally I’m not sure this prophecy of championship clubs going to admin in there droves (with points deduction) is being backed up with the reality of these signings were a fee is being paid

Outrageously good business from Town if we actually end up getting £16m for him Outrageously good business would depend on whether any of it goes towards replacing him or straight in to the Covid fund and to paying off Dean Hoyle

Exactly this. The window will go to the wire. Our side post window close will likely look a fair bit different to the one that starts the season Or We won’t be able to shift these players on and we’ll pretty much stick with what we have. have covered your self there htfcfcfc! Not really. Basically all depends on IF we can shift out the higher paid players. KG going will hopefully give us more flex but still got a lot of wages on the books My summary is we won’t spend much at all if they don’t leave but if they do leave it’ll go down to the wire when we are head locked into a fire sale to get them off our books.

With Bacuna I think it's getting to the stage where he either brings some consistency to his game or we look to get shut, he's had enough time now under different managers and is often a complete liability, he's looked quite poor in the pre season games I've seen too and very casual. Hope he can knuckle down under the new manager and show come consistency, if not it's time to give up and get rid. Can we give him a position and stick to it, you can't get consistancy when you're fucked about as much as he was by the Pearly pricks For certain. I am hoping for a Bielsa inspired understanding of players from Corby and that is RWB overlapping. We shall see.

Everyone is in agreement that we’ve made some horrendous mistakes and poor decisions over the past few years, let’s move on. If we get £16m for Grant in the current climate, it’s good business by the club end of. That money will help in some way whatever it is.

Would be around £12m once we’ve paid Charlton their sell-on fee. Lovely.

If Grant gets sold for that amount and the majority of the money isn’t used on transfers/wages then I think even the most positive of fans should be seriously questioning both the direction the club is going in and the thought process behind Dean’s sale . I’m still trying to be positive and I think I’d be snapping WBA’s hands off and reinvesting that amount of money in the current climate could be exactly what we need .

Working out the right fee for Grant is a funny one. On paper he should be worth shedloads. 22, English, very good season numbers-wise last season, 4 in 13 in the prem for a side that was dead and buried and scared of attacking. Looking at 10 million for Toney last week, 20 million for Maupay last year, we should be getting more if fees were based off stats and precedents.
But if we get 16 million for Grant we'll be laughing all the way to the bank. Twice as much as we got for Rhodes back in 2012, for half the player. Of course it'll be hard to replace his goals, but it's not going to the leave a gaping hole in the team like it did when other players have left for much less money.

The point is it would be ridiculous to sell him if it still doesnt put us in a position financially to be able to replace him adequately. Dont particularly rate him but where else are the goals going to come from

Not suggesting you aren't right and don't have somebody in the know as you were bang on about Ward, but that just seems like a twitter read up to me above. That's your opinion pal and you are entitled to it... Feel free to block me so you dont have to read my future posts 👍🏽 P. S I don't have a twitter account. Oh but you should they really are informative. -I never knew the moon landing was a hoax. the barstards. -I never knew that covid was made on purpose to cull the old. the barstards. -i never knew that twin towers was a CIA trick, the barstards. -Apparently theres a gate where you can get Pizza, i like pizza.

You really need to get over all that. If you think that our or any football club can withstand current incomings and outgoings for any period of time you need to give your head a wobble. I don't like to be the bearer of bad news but it's the truth. Vaccine or things will change soon

Grant for 16m when we paid 2m is great business. The only worrying part is that it will probably be used to pay Hoyle back and not be put back into the squad

It’ll go the same way as the rest. Remember “We don’t need to sell anyone and they won’t be sold unless we get very good offers, if they are sold they will be replaced”. Forgive me if I don’t hold out much hope.

I'd love to think you're right but I think it WILL leave a gaping hole in the team. We have nobody at the club who scores remotely as many. I don't think Danny Ward has ever got into double figures in one season. I'm actually pleased we've got Ward but after every transaction we've done/seem to be about to do recently I have to keep thinking that so much depends on CC considerably improving every player. He's going to have to be a hell of a coach and get results very quickly.
