There's one professional league club in the UK which has a letter in its name which doesn't appear in any other league team's name. I'll post the answer on Saturday if no one gets it. Queens Park rangers Queen of the South

Edinburgh is way further west than most people seem to realise - it’s certainly further west than Carlisle Liverpool and Bristol - probably similar in westerliness(?) to somewhere like Exeter. Think your geography has gone a bit wonky, Edinburgh sits on the southern bank of the Firth of Forth, the land mass starts to thin at this point, this stretch is referred to the central belt but I would certainly say in terms of Scottish geography it's certainly on the eastern coast of Scotland. To suggest its further west than Liverpool and Bristol is, quite frankly, bonkers, buy yourself a new atlas. The angle means Aberdeen on the far north east is further west than Bristol. You need a globe or follow the lines of longitude

Which is the most easterly ground... Brunton Park or Easter Road? Pub quiz nuts will be scratching their heads with their pencils thinking... is this a trick question? Edinburgh is way further west than most people seem to realise - it’s certainly further west than Carlisle Liverpool and Bristol - probably similar in westerliness(?) to somewhere like Exeter. I seem to remember once working out that with the exception of the town of Peterhead, the whole of Scotland lies to the west of Huddersfield. Edit: just checked, and Shetland is also to the east of Hudds.

I had clarified that further up thread.

Jadon Sancho became the first english player, playing for a foreign club, to score from a direct free kick in the Champions League since David Beckham did so way back in 2005. Sancho, playing for Borussia Dortmund this week, scored his fantastic goal against Club Brugge in their 3-0 home win. Beckham did it for Real Madrid 15 years ago.

Trabzonspor and Bursaspor are the only two clubs outside of Istanbul to have won the Turkish league title since the national league was introduced n 1959.

In the Champions League tonight Liverpool managed to get their quickest goal ever in that particular competition with a Mo Salah goal after just 55 seconds, playing against Danish minnows Midtylland. It doesn't even get Salah into the UEFA Top 20 though. The fastest Champions League goal ever was way back in 2007, scored by Roy Makaay for Bayern Munich playing against Real Madrid. Took him all of TEN SECONDS !!!

Name four teams with three 'O's in their name. Three are in the league, and one went out not so long back? We've played the latter many times.

There's a football stadium in northern Brazil (Macapa) that is exactly on the equator. Nice to think you can play the first half in the northern hemisphere and then head south for the second half! Or vice versa of course.
