Here's a thought, perhaps BDG has the power to take DATM offline completely....perhaps it wouldn't be a bad thing, and bring it back at the end of the season?....

At then end of the day e all want the club to be the best it can be, we all care. Currently we are arguing among ourselves about, what is the root of the problem, finance, personality, players etc...
I don't think anyone is really happy and until we see some concrete progress on the pitch this will continue.

I like the bloke and think he’s done/doing a fine job.
It’s fair to say that if I was ever elected to his position there’d be a fucking huge cull on the way, and I’ve no doubt I’d be on the cutting room floor if someone else got G’s gig, so be careful what you wish for.

He came with high expectations on a free transfer from Twitter. I was pretty excited when he signed up but his performances haven’t quite lived up to expectations yet.
I just hope that the rumours of TownAreWe being lined up as a potential replacement give him the shot in the arm he needs to up his game.
Talk of him being ‘the Diakhaby of the admin world’ are harsh and uncalled for IMHO.

I dont reallly understand this thread and apologies if the is the wrong thread to post on. I work outside so not great at moment so for some reason decided to ring a few mates to se how they were. Some I have not spoken to for the best part of a year. After a bit of prompting one guy said lost his job after geing furloughed and was struggling. Finds it hard to really be bothered doing anything. Was a bit shocked really. Suggested he gets help but did say I would ring once a week. Not sure this is the right place to post this but as a town fan we have a lot of numbers in our phone so it might be good to just ring one or a few. The worst that can happen is they tell you to FO.

I think he lost the grassroots support when he turned up for the DATM team photo in full, monogrammed kit.
Even worse, he said he was there for the "and then they was me" darkest hour. Turned out he was actually just reading it whilst in Dewsbury badminton club.

Yeah its amazing how detached from things we can quickly become just at one little shared social thing being removed for a year. My only little group of roughly 10 or so Town fans who I pretty much only ever see on a match day (known some from college 30+ years ago, some from playing football together 20+ years ago, plus a couple of their parents and also their kids etc) quickly just latched onto using our chat group last March as somewhere to ramble on about the game and what we're drinking etc whilst collectively but separately watching Town on iFollow/Youtube/Sky - and thats been really good. |

This isn't a forum for discussing quantum physic dissertations, its a place for a bit of fun! Most of the follow up replies seem to take that fully on board with some humorous rib-pulling which I'm pretty sure that G will appreciate and won't be upset by in any way shape or form and won't start crying about it (and he is the only one really who might have some justification to take exception to it). The semi-serious point I hoped to be able to make off the back of it (and looks to be heading that way), is that people seemingly can separate someone who seems to be an abrasive divisive character when he posts his opinions, from someone 'doing the job'....but for some reason, (what is proving to be) a small minority of posters can't separate that PH is 'doing the job' - bogged down by opinions formed of his presumed aloof passive-aggressive character. |

My source's brother's milkman's wife's chiropodist thinks hes a wrong 'un.
Personally I think its harsh to judge him during a pandemic and whilst we're still hamstrung with some left over feuds from before he got the gig.
