"Yaya had his pre-signing medical in France and is now isolating for a short period before joining up with Carlos Corberán’s squad later this week, pending a negative COVID-19 test."
So - either he arrived in the UK before the enhanced quarantine regulations came in on February 14th, and is just playing out some short isolation and test necessary prior to join an elite sporting bubble...or...lets say "later this week" means tomorrow at the latest, that means that he was here and has been isolating since last Tuesday or Monday, as thats the 10-day roll back?
Shows how challenging things are now, we've played three games since then, that he's had to sit out at home/hotel, and you've got to assume even if he gets a full day in tomorrow, he's not going to be considered for the next two games this Saturday and Tuesday, given...
“He has been training with a professional team in France from September until he made the journey to England, which means he should be in a better physical condition. He will still need a little time, and we will work with him to make him ready to help the team in the last part of the season.”
Or does Campbell's injury perhaps accelerate our desire to play whether he's ready or not?

One thing I must have missed. Although Campbell was taken off on Tuesday, I didn't realise he was injured. Can you confirm, because if he is injured we are in a right pickle.

Bit like a benny hill sketch now. Although saying that watching Campbell sometimes looks a little that way anyway 🤣

I'd be tempted to give Mbenza a go up top for a game if Campbell is out.
(although it wouldn't be my choice to play Duhaney with Pipa in front, which enables that, but that seems a set-up that CC is comfortable to use).

It'll be a revolutionary 5-5-0 formation...gradually changing to 10-0-0 as the goals go flying in our end....

I hadn’t seen this comment re Campbell. It was only a matter of time before he got injured , though hopefully his going off was precautionary. I just cannot ever remember a season like this for injuries.

I don't see how he'll need to spend time getting up to speed. With the speed of our play he'd likely have to slow down.

Winning teams get their players back quicker because everyone wants a piece of the action.

"Later this week" on Tuesday meant today (or maybe even yesterday).
(although he might be training alone?).

From his interview sounds like a level headed guy who just wants to play football on a regular basis. Certainly looks a powerful unit. Wish him well.
