Few Forest fans on Twitter saying that there’s been some fireworks let off near that Eva’s grill this afternoon (genuinely, they’re not just fishing), if that’s part of the unveiling then I think that’d be the final nail in the coffin 😂

I get why people are upset. O Brien has been my favourite player to watch since the Premier League days. But realistically the type of player he is (Not overloaded with Goals and Assists) doesn't go for big money. Kante is a far better player than Mahrez at his role in a team, but he went for half the price. Goals and Assists get the mega bucks. Id rather get more for the pair, but the graft theyve put in over the last few years for this team. Theyve earned the right to move on without any bitterness Yeah but Phillips just went for around 45 million hes got no assists or goals in his game hardly . £8 to 10 million for LO is pants down desperate for some quick cash for DH , sorry but forest have snapped a barginvifvthis is the price But at least the owner gets some cash to stare at in his bank balance must be chuffed to bits. Rubbish. The fact he’s gone to Forest shows what Premier Clubs and if we’re honest most of us have wondered….could LOB cut it in the Premier League. I’m not convinced. Very sad to see him go but let’s be honest, we’re more pissed off with the fact that we got robbed by the officials in the play off final and the knock on effects of that we are that it feels harsh that we’re without our manager and 2 of our better players to the team that were fortunate enough to beat us that day |

This deal was available 4 weeks ago reported as £9.5m for the pair. If we’d accepted it at that point CC would have got his loan signings and we’d be handily placed for a promotion push. Instead 3 of the agreed targets have gone to millwall, 1 to Luton and our managers gone, and there’s another £10m for DH to buy a few sycophants a pint in a pub when he bumps into them!

I questioned him, a bit surprised. He then mentioned that 'his goal contributions are not good, and he isnt ball winner like Hogg'
I agree with the 1st, not the 2nd.

What does everyone else think? I can see where he is coming from, but, he brings so much more to OUR side. You know when he isnt playing.
Is that good enough for a side that is more than likely going to struggle?

Should say, I absolutely agree its a steal. But to keep my sanity im chalking the 2-3 mil shortfall down to the add ons and good will to the players over the last few years |

He is (sorry was) the energy in the side and together with the possible loss of Harry the rest of the team will have to find another gear. |

He's not an assist king but had no need to be in the way we were playing. Popped up with the odd goal here and there. But to say he's not a ball winner is laughable, I've never seen a player win as many 40-60s while staying on his feet and keeping forward momentum. Great at pressing and interceptions too. I think the comment about him always driving is recency bias, we leant on that passage of play a lot during all 3 playoff games, and it became more noticeable in the second half of the season cos the opposition would target him |
