O'Brien started in the 4-1 defeat at Blackpool but was subbed on 68 mins. I think Forest will loan him out in Jan but doubt it will be to us, maybe Corboran might want him at WBA ? Both Blackpools first 2 goals were down to poor defending from LOB. Had a bit of a mare by all accounts. Who’d have thought Toffolo would end up further up the pecking order than O’Brien? I had Toffolo in the stands and O’Brien on the bench, looks like it’s the other way round.

He's probably even 3rd choice really behind Omar Richards who they signed from Bayern and has been injured all season so far.

And what if people want to be lazy ( your opinion - could easily be a phone incorrectly auto-correcting a mis-swiped word - not always obvious if you're just on a short DATM visit, want to post something quickly and then you're away onto something else, perhaps you're inadvertently bullying a dyslexic, who knows)? You aren't their father or teacher in this instance. It's easily understandable (that you're able to correct it is testament to that), the English language is flexible and develops and changes all the time, especially in non-formal settings like this. The pub analogy above is a good one, if someone is having a productive conversation that you yourself are hardly contributing to, would you chip in with enunciation & pronunciation tips - unlikely 🤷♂️ I write this as someone who was a fully signed up member of the grammar police with an associate membership of the pedantry union 10 years ago - then one day you realise who sounds more like the jerk! Click the report button if something breaks the guidelines, or put yourself up to be an admin if you'd like the standards sharpened up beyond that. Couple of points: No I’m not their father or teacher, same as you aren’t a football manager or director yet we both comment on these matters. A typo won’t change have to of. Yes, the English language does evolve, if you see my previous post I’ve acknowledged this and queried why it came in to language. I’ve given my opinion as lazy, you haven’t offered an opinion, just a mild Victor Meldrew moment whilst stating I may be bullying a dyslexic individual, which is bollocks. I’ve never reported anyone ever and have no intention of doing so no matter what the post. Anyway, back to Louis O Brian. That in particular gets my goat. Of instead of have doesn't even make sense and there is a reason grammar evolved through time.

The latest one that pisses me off is they've started sticking an 's' on the end of 'anyway'. So anyways ... Thats another one, starting a sentence with 'So'....

How many right backs do we need?
Although having said that we had two left backs on the bench yesterday and the master tactician moved a right wing back over to play there.

I can’t lie, as much as I agree our left side is poor. It still stings a bit that he refused to sign a new deal and went to Forest, I’m not sure I want him. For footballing purposes though, he would be ideal…

losing one of one of your best players and then them getting loaned out to a relegation rival. That would be the definition of a shit sandwich, or even a platter of shit sandwiches.

Don’t know why I expected more but surely we’ve not sold both of them without a first dibs at loan if they’re available. Fair enough if we have and can’t afford it but if not what an utter amateur negotiation

How can you have a shit sandwich without any bread? if this was Bromby's project brief for this season, then from that perspective he's actually done a pretty good job of it.

But if there is, he may think twice before picking the only team below us in the league!

That dodgy Greek will probably pay all his wages too, just to yank our chains that bit more. Think hes more likely to think he paid us over the odds for LOB. All the clubs who watched him but wouldn't pay more than Forest probably called it right, despite many on here thinking we should have got something like £15m for him.

He's a mix of Kante, Bellingham and Messi.....or you'd think so whenever I put what you have 😉

Or perhaps he hasn’t had a fair chance and/or good run of games? Difficult to judge his level until that happens. Agreed though, surprised there weren’t more suitors at that price, so maybe he’s not rated too highly. We all know his strengths (carrying the ball forward, work rate) and weaknesses (lack of goals and assists). He just needs to find a team where he fits. Whether that is a top Championship side or Premier League is too early to tell (still only 24).

He prob is a mediocre prem player / top end champshp player......but thats way better than where we are as a club sadly. Not been given too many chances and still room to improve but id take him back here in a heartbeat - Miles better than what we currently have.
