Funny, I saw that as well. Not sure if there was a problem with him and Toffs being so clicky? Always seemed like a pleasant lad at Town. I guess if your face doesn't fit, and you are competing with some very expensive players, you could be stuffed. Saw this too. Gibbs white and Brennan only passed to each other. We should offer to pay 10% of his wages for the rest of the season He seems to be stuffed now. Blackburn are appealing but the EFL are sticklers for their rules, and it may set a precedent they don’t want. With the window closed he can’t go anywhere and may be up for sale in the summer. Money aside that is a shit move for him.

I've no ill will towards either LOB or Toff as they both gave 100% to the club the entire time they were here. Same can't be said for Karlan Grant..... were West Brom thinking paying £16m for that heap of shit with an even worse attitude than his first touch. It is hilarious they paid us so much for him but their fans wailing about him being one of their worst ever signings when he got 18 goals and 6 assists last year is a bit rich.

I feel bad for the guy. He was never going to stay here forever and I think a lot of people even thought he'd go the year before.
He never threw his toys out the pram, always grafted and wanted to acheive his dream of playing in the premier league.
Cant fault the guy really, he's tried to go about things the honest way and been shafted.

Didn’t get arsey summer before last when there was interest from Leeds. Don’t understand the mentality of anyone taking pleasure in the situation he finds himself in. Pathetic really.

The transfer window is not a secret. When it slams shut it's shut.

And if he’d gone off the boil for 6 months he’d be getting pelters. See sorba or keroma

I would have done what they did .I never said I wouldn't but their choice whilst being very lucrative now looks like being a nightmare for LOB in particular So again I say IMO they are reaping what they sowed End of .

Am only antagonistic to ex players who behaved like lazy twats. LOB does not come into this category. I bet he had no idea Forest were gong to sign 100+ players. For the first half dozen games of the season, he was probably Forest's best player. To be dropped as he was looked massively unfair. Similar to a couple of other responses to this, the problem with Forest is that they seem to have quite a share of arrogance in their team, no doubt enforced by the humongous amount of smoke being blown up their arses every week. We also formed a lot of our forward play around him, whereas Forest look to others for that. Those things combined have resulted in what’s happened to him. I watched a bit of the final again last night, we really were shafted by the officials in that game, not only the 2 pens, but some other midfield challenges. Jon Moss was an atrocious appointment for that game, but when the bias is already set for what the higher-ups want to see as an outcome, that OG made their job so much easier. In hindsight, our only chance to get something out of that game was to score in open play. Ironic that the 2 players who were shafted on the pitch that day, look to be shafted again now, but this time as Forest players. Modern day football and the money just kills the game day by day for me, the authorities want big money, big city clubs, with clean living supporters in identikit stadia, these bastards in control are ripping the heart out of the game…

I don't think many people have nightmares about earning 22k a week (Mexican drug barons perhaps). I call it more an unfortunate situation than a nightmare

Wish he hadn’t gone to Forest but no real difference to when Town signed Dangly Williams after the play off win against Reading. Apart from the arrogance of their fans. PL football, big money, and a chance to play and stay in touch with your best mate. I doubt many would turn that kind of offer down. Would have him and Toff back in a heartbeat.

Plenty of Forest fans saying he was good for the first couple of games but has been poor since. Some saying he got an illness and hasn't been the same since he came back.

Seems a shame to me. I never understand why clubs leave it so long in the transfer window. I guess it’s the agents holding out for the best deal.

A little odd how much he seems to have fallen out of favour at Forest. He looked really good in the early season games I saw. I reckon he'd have been a regular somewhere like either Palace or Southampton. Seems to me that Cooper's been told he has to prioritise selecting the high wage earners, although (sadly) that appears to be working for them at the moment.

Off the the MLS apparently - what a fucking disaster that moves turned out to be. Not sure I agree with that, had one premier league club interested in him, over doubled his money securing the move. Now gets to spend a few months over in the states raising his profile again. Beats sitting in our current sh**show, relegated to league one with a clown of a chairman who slagged him off when he left for forest.
