NB Norwich doesn't count. Or Bournemouth away. We didn't go for it then.

After the last few weeks I’m dreading this one. I’ll watch it to keep up my record of watching every game , but for the first time this season I’ve lost all of my positivity. This is not like you, keep your chin up. Sport is fickle and form can improve as well as get worse. Yes we probably will lose but you never know and with a few key players coming back we should see some improvement. We're better against teams that can play. Thanks. I’ve just watched Bournemouth’s game from yesterday - with Brooks returning from injury they are lightning quick on the break and have goal scorers all over the place. It’s a shame to be dreading a home game but as you say, you never know.

Two things are certain, defeat and Billing working a lot harder than his last appearance at the JSS. Billing is in current good form - three goals plus two assists in the Cherries' last four league games.

Just realised how stupidly early the kick off is. It would be good to get something out of this game to put pressure on Rotherham and Wednesday who kick off after us.

I know its a long way back to Bournemouth, but these kick off times really should not have been allowed/scheduled. I think there were some mid afternoon kick offs earlier in the season too. Just because there's no fans in the ground doesn't mean there aren't fans watching...show disregard for those hard at work during the day who now can't watch a match they otherwise would/should be able to, and its going to come back and hurt the football clubs when they're expecting people to return next season. They'll be back in Bournemouth at 1am assuming they will leave the ground by 8pm...a 7:30pm kick off would make that 3am. Whats the difference between 1am and 3am to someone sleeping on a coach?? Bugger all.

I try and stay positive but really cant see anything other than a comfortable win for them.
Shit as he is, Id start with Mbenza just incase we get a free kick in a decent position. Might be the best chance we have of scoring and I think we'll need 2 or 3 to get a draw.

Schofield
REG Keogh Crichlow
Pipa Vallejo Hogg O’Brien Rowe
Campbell Sanogo
Sarr has been a liability and Crichlow was very impressive when he played.
Play Pipa in his natural position, don't let Bacuna anywhere near the team, Vallejo provides control and Rowe has looked good at left wing back.
Two up top to at least give Bornmuff something to think about.

I had us down as getting no points from recent Brentford, Norwich and B'mouth games combined so we are still a point up on that, another point tomorrow night would be great but won't end our season if it doesn't happen.

We’ll make a whole host of changes to throw this game away as a tactical loss to save ourselves for Forest

We need to sit deep and hit them on the counter.
How about: Schofield REG Keogh Sarr Pipa Vallejo O’Brien Hogg Rowe Campbell Aarons
Get Eiting and Koroma on the bench and bring them on for 30 mins to get some match fitness.

I’ve come to the conclusion that I’d drop anyone who knows isn’t getting a renewed contract in the summer as they won’t be putting in the required effort due to not wanting to get injured . I might be wrong but after the last two games there seems far too many not putting enough effort in? ?

I dont think i ever decided he wasnt shit. he went through a spell of actually looking interested early this season and became a player worth picking in the team, but for the last couple of months seems to have gone back to the disinterested waste of space he was. His entire contribution seems to be collecting the ball out on the touchline and ( without even considering using his alleged pace to beat the full back) just passing it backwards. That and taking a very good free kick. Hes the walking ( literally ) embodiment of why our premier league dream turned to crap. We had our pants royally pulled down to buy him. Gave us bugger all back. Lousy uninterested attitude.

The club has obviously decided to do this with Pritchard and I’d do the same with the others. As always, I can accept losing to better teams when the players have put in the effort but too many of late have got nowhere near the benchmark.

From what I’ve seen, Bournemouth play a similar style to Brentford so I’d hope he sets us up exactly the same for this one. Hoping Vallejo can play as until he went off v Brentford the plan seemed to be working.

Cripes. I'd forgotten about the stupid kick-off time. People at work will face a real problem getting home if they finish at 5. I'm anticipating missing the first half as I have an hour drive unless the meeting I'm in finishes earlier than anticipated. Fans, as ever, missing out.

We’ll make a whole host of changes to throw this game away as a tactical loss to save ourselves for Forest We better not, we have to go out and believe we can get the points no matter who we play. That next win needs to come as soon as possible to basically knock the stuffing out of the bottom three, plus put us one game from safety.

Gave us bugger all back. Lousy uninterested attitude. I have a lot of sympathy with that view, but to be devil's advocate, he is not without some merit. And I am ignoring his transfer fee, which is utterly irrelevant now. He is not a player who will create something out of nothing or beat a man, but I think he's a good addition to the team when we are playing fast flowing football. Hence why he looked good before Christmas and now he doesn't, given we are playing turgid football in the opponent's half. His defensive tracking back is also better than expected, for somebody who is allegedly totally disinterested. Having said all that, I won't be sad to see him go in the summer, until that is, we get a free kick 25 yards out. Just like I miss Mounié's cameos of last season. He'll probably end up back in Ligue 1 next season.
