One of the mates of young lad I work with has just put on their group chat that the heff has booked a appointment to look at the new builds in valley gardens in paddock . I don’t work with Maynard and my subscription to the news network has definitely expired but thought I’d pass it on !! He has also viewed a mate of mines dads house in hartshead. No way he’s coming back as a player though is there let’s face it. For Hefs sake I hope he picks Hartshead over Paddock/Milnsbridge border

I mentioned it previously on here but I know for a fact he's spoken to Dean and Phil about potential staff roles depending on if he choses to retire from playing or not.
Based on people saying he's looking at houses in the area maybe he's finally made the decision to hang his boots up and go into a coaching role until he can poach Brombys job

hope he is a coach , a player who showed passion and desire to play for us we need a coach who will get them going as we don't have that kind of coach

Bring him home.
So football’s not coming home but maybe the Heff can?

We don’t have a budget to allow us to recruit people on such a basis IMO. Some may however see this as a good reason to recruit which is fair enough. 👍 I adore the Heff. But I really don’t understand how it can be thought that bringing him back in a none playing capacity would benefit anyone. Passion is generated on the pitch not off it. For me, Hef would be perfect for any type of mentoring/coaching role. He has the charisma, the knowledge, is great for morale & has an obvious passion for the club. If any of that gets passed on to young lads at Town, surely that can only be beneficial?

Far better option to give Hef the mentoring role than Keogh IMO.

Heff certainly has charisma, and won over the town fans pretty quick. Whether he has the tactical nouce and ability to empathise with players I don't know. It's one thing being the team comedian and making everyone laugh, improving moral and team spirit but I think he'd need to offer more than that.

Far better option to give Hef the mentoring role than Keogh IMO. Ditto. He brings energy and an infectious personality. Keogh has this level experience but it counts for nothing unless you can put it across right to people. Hef is fun but also switched on, he is a joker yet serious with his role as he was before. I'd much rather he come as cover and coaching. Think the young lot would love him tbh

Expect to see him out and about Town and the community drumming up support.

We paid Ramadan Sobhi Hundreds of Thousands to do fuck all. So surely we can pay a few quid for the Heff to hang around the place.

On loan for virtually the full duration, so was actually doing something and someone else was also paying his wages. We supposedly made a profit.

He's coming back isn't he I guess so but in what capacity? Maybe Keogh’s role he was offered? Registered as a player but will hardly play at it all, role model for the youngsters, pathway into coaching. From his degree he’s doing though it seems more the technical away from the pitch side of stuff he’d be involved in. Let’s wait and see

He's been hired to help clean the kit. The idea is that the kit lady throws him the washing and he deflects it into the washer with his arse.

He's coming back isn't he I guess so but in what capacity? My eagle eyed son spotted Michael Hefele in the stand today, would be great to see him back, perhaps as a mentor - UTT.

He's coming back isn't he I guess so but in what capacity? Frank Lampard, on Bromby's right, has been piling on the pounds. 🤪

PH and LB need to run the club with their heads not their hearts. I fail to see what Heff can bring to us. Waste of a salary when we have little/no money. That salary could be put towards adding some much needed quality to the squad. Too many sentimental resigning of former players
