Anyone follow him on social media?
Huge amount of post about town and re-tweets of town related material recently. Not sure if I’m reading too much into it but he may be looking to come back in the summer.
Anyone have him?
The last thing we need is another player on the treatment table but if he can get and keep himself fit then he would be an asset. Certainly better than Keogh or Stearman.

More than capable championship centre half, not sure what’s gone on at Forest but I’d welcome him back but wouldn’t want his legacy to be tarnished if it didn’t work out second time around.

I would have him back in a heartbeat. Even if he rarely played his character in the dressing room would be invaluable

He's doing an MSc in Sports Directorship in September. I'd welcome him back in that role!

I’d take him back, he’s ten times the defender of Stearman, Elphick and Keogh combined.
Probably exaggerating there. I just love the man because he put the ball in the bastards net and swore on Sky.

Do you want him back or not 😉. You must have splinters in your backside. But for the reasons you mention, I wouldn't want him back even though he's a Town legend. He's made 41 league starts in 5 seasons. If he was anybody else, the idea of signing him would be rightly ridiculed.

The last time Michael Hefele played a game of professional football, David Wagner was still the Town manager. That's how long ago it was.
I'd love him back at Town in some capacity but unfortunately it seems like his best playing days are behind him.

1152 minutes of League Football since May 2017. Equivalent of 12.8 games.
Zero minutes since 1st January 2019.
Id wager he's retiring when released by Forest, and if not he's certainly not playing Championship or even L1 football.
Gutted for him really, absolute Legend.

I love him, but no. Injuries have knacked him.
Is our scouting limited to players who have played here before? What's Alan Lee doing these days?

My take on Heff is that we flogged him to death in the promotion season. He played through injuries he really shouldn’t but we needed him. To the point it did long term damage.
Hoyle realised this and to pay that favour back allowed him to leave for bugger all transfer fee meaning he got a fat contract at Forest.
I don’t think you’ll see him play at a high level again.

Re-signing Hefele would be very silly, but we still have the memories.

Love Hef to death but I wouldn't have him back as a player.... mind you, any other role he'd fancy & I'd take him back. I always thought he'd make a great youth coach.

I think Hefs success was largely due to his personality than his quality . I loved the lad and his attitude and desire was there to see but, quite like Peter Clarke, his last ditch tackles were usually a result of an error

Better than Schindler in the backend of the promotion season and particularly the play-offs. Absolutely bossed it in the final. But not up to PL standard, especially after losing that extra half a yard from his injuries. He was quite stiff and immobile anyway but the injuries completely ruined him.

There's talk of him retiring from playing because of injuries and going into coaching. I know from a good source that he is in regular contact with Dean, Phil and other staff. Not saying there is anything in it but if he does come back it will be as staff not a player

The mans a legend but ffs anyone wanting him back is wrong in the head.
Pritchard ( that illusive dwarf) has played about 5 times more than the Heff in the last 3 years
