Always find it hilarious that football fans seem to expect a long term injured player to just rip up his contract. Presume if they were ever off on long term sick they’d be happy not getting paid anything.

Forest fans as classy as ever. Ones I’ve met are always deluded wankers.

Forest fans as classy as ever. Ones I’ve met are always deluded wankers. All the midlands clubs think they are massive clubs, none of them are apart from Villa.

One was clearly injured hence his retirement from playing at age 30 but would have run through a brick wall to play if he could. The other doesn’t seem to able to decide if he was injured or not and when called upon was absolutely fucking useless for 3 years. Apples and oranges.

Welcome back Mr H, every club needs a personality like yours, they’re in short supply. Wish you every success for the future. UTT 💪

Brilliant move by the club. Help in the community, some academy coaching and work on the YouTube channel as well. Can't think of a better person to tick all those boxes!

Spot on decision - re injury- he crippled his Achilles early on in Reading final and shouldn’t have played through it really. But he did - I wish Bacuna,Mbenza,Pritchard had 10%% of his guts.

what's equally superb, bizarre and damning is that this is probably the best signing of the summer

You couldn’t pick anyone better to do that role he’s been given, youngsters in academy will look up to him, the fans and engagement side will be a doddle as he’s a cult hero.
The club get hammered for a lot but rarely recognised for the good moves, and this is a good one.
Kudos to all involved, welcome home Hef !

Spot on move by the club, fan engagement is dismal at the moment so signing Hef up to kick-start it again is a great decision. Fold in some work with the commercial team and the academy and everyone's a winner.

Great to see that he’s still using “The Heffing Dream” as his catchphrase.
