I just hope to God we don't piss about with a negative game plan thinking a point would be OK. We would be asking to get battered.

It'll be interesting to see how much CC has learnt from Nottingham. Does he set-up 433 to play "our" game or does he revert to 352 accepting the players we have ready to play?
Personally, I'd rather see him role the dice and play the players in their positions, in a formation that works for us i.e. 433

Am I right in thinking we're mathematically safe with a win irrespective of results elsewhere?

Am I right in thinking we're mathematically safe with a win irrespective of results elsewhere? No, we can’t be mathematically safe today even if all results go our way

Am I right in thinking we're mathematically safe with a win irrespective of results elsewhere? A win tonight would guarantee Wednesday can't catch us but Derby could still potentially get 52 points & Rotherham 57 so not mathematically safe yet.

Derby v Sheffield Wed may be interesting as a finale to the season, but I suspect the latter will need snookers by then.

Is it on red button or just ifollow toneet? Yes it is, according to Sky. However, if you've got a choice I'd pick iFollow for the multi camera view.

Am I right in thinking we're mathematically safe with a win irrespective of results elsewhere? We wouldn't be mathematically safe, but Derby would have to go from a 4 game losing streak to a 3 game winning steak. Plus we'd have to lose the last 3 games. You'd make an awful lot of money betting on that happening, probably enough for them not to pay out!

It wouldn't matter as Derby & Wednesday would be below us - so we would be safe from relegation.

As I said, the assumption was we'd win tonight and whilst we wouldn't be mathematically safe, the run of results from just Derby and us would make you extremely rich were you to bet on them. Personally, I think there's almost as much chance of Sheffield Wednesday catching us as WRDCFC. Derby are on a horrendous run and are arguing amongst themselves during the game. Even in the Norwich & Bournemouth debacles we never appeared to fall apart that badly in terms of team spirit.

Shouldnt really be thinking like this as we`re not safe yet, but if town were to win tonight i would be quite cool if Rotherham won also, bearing in mind Derby and the biggest club in the world are on the brink, be great if they both went down although they play each other last match.

Derby and SWFC going down would be fun. The two massive teams can go and do a Leeds in L1.

Both Sheffield clubs relegated ? when did that last happen... In the same season ? Never has, 75/76 came very close, Blades finished bottom of Div 1, Massive in danger all season in Div 3 actually got out of the relegation places in the final day. Edit - Who knows how our history would have altered had they joined Town in the bottom tier, also would Jack Charlton have dropped to that level and if not would he ever have ended up in charge at Eire so missed out on their World Cup exploits and more importantly would Town still have won the Shipp Cup at Hillsborough? Of course we’ll never know the answer but it’s amazing to think how different things could have been if a last day 3rd Division result had been reversed. 2nd Edit - Worth mentioning that while Massive survived by the skin of their teeth, Halifax weren’t so lucky and Hereford went up as Champions, whenever we as Town fans are moaning how shit it is, like now, I always remember in my first year of support that Halifax were a league above. Now if you’d asked when was the last time Town went up and both Beeston and the small chickens got relegated, in the same season well that’s a different matter.
